i followed tom the other day into that hell hole called Chatham and got hpoelessly lost in a 40ft. I ended up down lanes most sane people wouldnt take a scooter , much to the annoyance ( to put it politely in kent terms ! ) of the locals . BEWARE following your sat nav !! I wish i had pictures ! It can happen to the best of us - just keep your cool if it does and let them get around you !!
this can happen very easily in and veihcle even if you have hgv data as it doesnt include all roads if you can update the map to the lasetest data
and use mk1 eyeball if it looks to narrow dont go down it use the browse map facility on the unit. this is also why mapreading skils are so imprtant to learn and use not only with maps but also these skills are just as important all satnav units

thats why i carry maps and use the satnav for finding address when i’m close remember its a handy tool not the gosple use your brain eyes
