Cant remember what year it was but the 747 & Shuttle landed at Stanstead. It was there for a couple of days or so. It was parked with in sight of the M11 that was before those trees grew so big.,

When I lived in Africa, the Americans built a runway especially for the shuttle in case it missed the landing strip in the US :stuck_out_tongue:

Maybe they use Sat Nav
