nope, sorry, it needs to be euro 5 with the electronics to restrict the power if certain criteria are not met to qualify for the cheaper road tax
wtf? whats the point if no gain to the operator?
some interesting comments good and bad, i’ve only moved a R sreies about 10 feet in a yard so cant comment, i drove i-shift for 3 months and loved it but cant get used to no clutch pedal so opti-cruise is my first choice. volvo cab is too cramped on head room compaired to a topline

I agree with you there Tappy,if Volvo would only conceed defeat and change that bloody cab i’d probably still be driving one now.
Scanias are too dear thou not worth it imho.
Get yourself a 4x2 Megaspace MR.V,with a dirty big V8 ,then spend a few grand fitting the mini midlift-you’ll still work out cheaper than a Scania.
course, all your bling won’t fit on a merc will it?
How much will your Topline fetch?
drive it a bit further its a real shame to say it but it aint good try some shunting in it in a tight spot needing a few shunts its a pain the fh is cramped especially if you dont have a built in fridge if the one i drive was mine i would take the passenger seat out and loose the top bunk giving you a lot more room

on the DAF XF105, there is some telematics that restrict the power output if you run out of AdBlue, if it ain’t got those telematics, it won’t get the RPC for the reduced road tax some early Euro 5 DAFs do not have the telematics, so don’t qualify for the RPC
i have seen that motor at a scrap yard in Bedford a while back, it is a tidy looking motor, it is just a shame that the light bars are the anodised aluminium ones and not the polished stainless.

Nice motor, not fussed about paint, that can be addressed, bars can be sold on.
