To go back to my original point I CLEARLY stated (or so I thought) that I fully respect and carry out to the letter drivers hours laws and appreciate that they are there primarily for road safety.
(The fact that I think a lot of it is pedantic and over complicated is another argument for another day)
I also stated that wtd, poa, and in fact dcpc were not of genuine agenda so therefore had no bearing or effect on road safety, but still you come back with the same groundless accusation rather than just admit that you picked me up wrong.

In terms of how important my job is then again that’s not what I said. What I said was that my life is obviously a bit more interesting than yours as I have far more important and interesting things to do than sit on a computer answering questions all day long. But then again you obviously think your some kind of daddy to these fools who you seem to think need protecting from the big bad drivers on here who dare to answer them back!!

It seems i’m supposed to look up to the chaps that ‘stick it to the man’ by walking in & out of jobs and on & off the agency list their whole lives. Fact of the matter is, it just makes you look like a tool when you do eventually apply for a premium job that takes your fancy and they see what a god awful work history you have. No decent spells of service, no apparent loyalty, few references of any substance, no hope.
The intelligent policy is to put up with the job you have & all that goes with it, play by the rules and keep your head down whilst looking for that better alternative (doesn’t mean you have to bend over and take anything thats unreasonable), then leave on good terms with no bridges burnt, a good reputatation and a the door left ajar - even if the place is a total shower and you have no intention of going back.
Take the lorry to the nearest lay by / services, drop the trailer without winding the legs down, flush the keys down the khazie, sell the derv cards, spare wheel on e bay.

Firstly without a shadow of a doubt you’ve not told us the full story hear and you’ve been very selective and only give us your side.
Secondly you’ve been on the radar for some time and this example of yours where they’ve taken the new truck off of you and given you an old banger is just a way of hoping you will leave of your own back because sadly dismissing drivers like you is and can be somewhat complicated and not always straight forward .
Thirdly I’ll bet you Downtons will be glad to see the back of you because if your anything like you are on this forum in real life then people like you really aren’t liked and are seen as a pain in the rear end.
As others have said if your reason for going home was true a simple phone call explaining the situation would have sufficed but like I and other have said I don’t believe your version for a second.

Where did I say you mentioned violence exactly, the word I used was implied…, the said implication was very clear to most of us on here, including who it was aimed at evidently.

Yeah, I could of Moocher. But I am no longer at school, and as such I expect to be left to make my own decisions.
A simple " please let us know if you need to nip home " would of done the trick, but unfortunately this firm have shown themselves to me fortunately sooner rather than later.
