New job time (again!)

Sorry old boy as I pointed out to your ■■■■ of a son just I’ve got a life to live and job to do so I haven’t had time to,come.

My point is you seem to like safety when it involves one of your own but appear to think it’s ok for drivers to drive around all day without appropriate rest that was my point but I do believe this is another thread on something totally unrelated.

You do realise by sticking up for this bellend how stupid you look to most of us on here.

  Jeez H mate, you really have got a high opinion of yourself, pardon me for not realising how important your job is, and how superior your daily life is compared to the rest of us…what WAS I thinking.
To go back to my original point I CLEARLY stated (or so I thought) that I fully respect and carry out to the letter drivers hours laws and appreciate that they are there primarily for road safety.
(The fact that I think a lot of it is pedantic and over complicated is another argument for another day)

I also stated that wtd, poa, and in fact dcpc were not of genuine agenda so therefore had no bearing or effect on road safety, but still you come back with the same groundless accusation rather than just admit that you picked me up wrong.

Ok bud fair enough if saving face on here is so important to you.

Another point…what YOU personally think of me is totally irrelevent, so don’t bother yourself bud…I don’t.

Also for the record Evil8b is not really my son, I don’t even think I am old enough, it is a bit of a joke we have going on here, so do try and work things out a bit more clearly, because to use your own words…it could, .quote: ‘‘show how stupid you look to most of us on here’’
(Not to mention the fact that you actually came on here and implied a threat of punching a forum member’s lights out :open_mouth: :unamused: )

Come on mate, there’s a big risk of you showing yourself up here, it aint real life… it’s an on line forum ffs!. :unamused:

Robroy who mentioned violence I can’t see where I did in my post. At no point does it mention any violence at all.

Ha ha if you really think that I believe he is your real son then your off your rocker! Ha ha

In terms of how important my job is then again that’s not what I said. What I said was that my life is obviously a bit more interesting than yours as I have far more important and interesting things to do than sit on a computer answering questions all day long. But then again you obviously think your some kind of daddy to these fools who you seem to think need protecting from the big bad drivers on here who dare to answer them back!!

Your the one who obviously has a high opinion of themselves having mentioned, just a few times , what you would do and how you would put any TM or planner in their place should they question you on your behaviour or work practices.

Well I bet their quacking in their boots if they read your posts , I know I would be!! Ha ha

Ah well, it looks as if my request for an explanation has been sideswiped again, never mind silence and non response sometimes says more. :bulb:

Where did I say you mentioned violence exactly, the word I used was implied…, the said implication was very clear to most of us on here, including who it was aimed at evidently.

Nice to hear you have a more interesting life than me…Congratulations.

You really must read my posts mate if you are going to attempt to look intelligent by responding in a patronising manner, I never said I put anybody in their place, on the contrary in fact as I clearly stated that I was on a justified disciplinary currently myself…do try and keep up.

So sorry to shoot you down yet again, but who knows maybe one day you will be successful in here in appearing to be on the same intellectual plane as a mere driver such as myself…(well you did say I had a high self opinion, so I may as well play up to your accusation.)

Let’s just knock it on the now head eh? …Bored with you now.

But on page 3 of this nonsense you said you would go tell the planner to go f##k himself when he ask a question and then put but that’s just me! So what is it to be?

No wonder evil and eager look up to you.

■■■ covering is the name of the game in these days of trackers etc surely a phone call to say “do you mind” wasn’t too much to ask, oops you didn’t have your phone did you

eagerbeaver:
I see you have met her!!!

The thing is mate, I am that bloke who walks into the club and looks cool. I am the bloke that your wife secretly wants to get banged by. Seen an expensive sports car pitch up?..probably mine. Fancy a fit younger blonde?-I have one.

Hell…I even have a cracking knob on me. Tall dark and handsome? Yep that’s me too. (There are a few members on here who have met me and will testify).

Basically, I am ‘that guy’ that all these worms want to be. But can’t…because they are riddled with fear of losing a poxy job

I think its your modesty that appeals most

If he’s the guy my wife wants to be banged by he must be John Bon jovi, come on then give us a song

But on the other hand a quick call from you to say ‘‘I need to nip home’’ could have made all the difference and then there would not be over 5 pages of this crap …

edit … oops, make that seven

Coolrider:

.

Err think I’ve managed to decipher that :open_mouth:

The point I would tell him, you, or anybody else to go and ■■■■ yourself/himself, would be (as stated on p.3)…when he told me I should have …Waited to get back to base to take a ■■■■. (As most with a backbone would I would reckon)

eagerbeaver:
Yeah, I could of Moocher. But I am no longer at school, and as such I expect to be left to make my own decisions.

A simple " please let us know if you need to nip home " would of done the trick, but unfortunately this firm have shown themselves to me fortunately sooner rather than later.

Getting bored of all this ■■■ covering business. It’s about time drivers grow a ■■■■.

As I said mate I’m not questioning.
I’ve tramped for few years.
I never get questioned where I am or what I’m doing I get one text message a day and the odd phone call if I’ve been sitting waiting for 4 hours to get loaded or tipped to see if il make the ferry.
If I’ve not got a job through il give them a bell to tell them I’m empty.
If I’m driving past near my house near parking up till then il park up and go home.

I never get questioned about routes or breaks.
If I want stop for a coffee or anything il stop.
If I know I’m not going get tipped that day then I drag the day out to get my hours up.
But I don’t take the ■■■■ that’s maybe why.

Coolrider:
No wonder evil and eager look up to you.

Assumptions again, you’re quackers, no crackers pal!
Unlike yourself, Robroy’s a good laugh and can actually do banter…
P.S. Your satire is ■■■■ poor as well! :unamused:

Then we have the “no I wasn’t being threatening”.
Keep going mate, you’re getting better and better!

eagerbeaver:
I will then be driving at a safe, legal speed EVERYWHERE I go next week and drive at a speed appropriate to the road conditions.

Tut tut…

Shoulda been doing that from day one.

Whistles about to blow, then it’s all back to class.

I cant beleve this got to page 7.I did have a little read and there has been some utter pish posted. The hamster went home got his phone no big deal but i think they wanted to pick on someone that day.He was seen near his home and the services so he got it and that will make there job worth while thats all that they want.

I think the OP has a secret side bet that he can’t make it a 10 pager, come on EB only 3 pages to go, stick on some more inflammatory comments, stir it up again, it’s getting boring.

Ahhh another week of being a worm/yes man/mortgage payer [emoji15]

So if the planner rings him up at (say) 6-30 am to ask why he is late for work will he restart is 45 again?

I’m all for sticking it to the man and standing by your guns but sometimes just getting on with it and taking the bollocking whilst looking for a new job is best.

However the change of truck and reported childish petty shenanigans of the planner point to issues on both sides.

On a side note how ■■■■■■ where you lot this weekend, some epic handbags at 50 paces…

Did the planner only ask him why he went off route? I honestly didn’t see anything in the posts (other than name calling by EG) that suggested the planner was being childish. However I may have missed something…

I agree with you on the handbags though!

Obviously with local knowledge you might go a different way an all that, I did put a way point in where you turn left at the lab but once there it just went back the way it came?

Whenever I’ve had a cab phone my missus has had the number. But if not she knows who you work for and could soon be in touch if needed. I’m lost without me phone, so would definitely be trying to get it, looking at the the map I’d have gone in my own car if there was time to pick it up, or got my missus to drop it off if she was free. It looks completely the wrong direction so wouldn’t of entered my head to take the truck.

If I had of done the 1st detour, I certainly wouldn’t of done the second, I’d had been trying to crack on to make up lost time. I’d never actually contemplate doing that detour on that run anyway! It looks to me like the needing a ■■■■ is ■■■■■■■■ anyway as it looks like the services are further away than your yard, so was it all about the coffee and being a badass?

Would you employ you?

I would only expect a word off the planner if I’d been there a while, had a good reputation and was someone known for getting on with the job hassle free and not awkward etc. If I didn’t tick all them then I wouldn’t expect any slack from the planner. I’ve no idea if you tick all of them or non.

Going in late is one thing, but only if you tell them, just turning up late is ridiculous and the thing is if you’re going down that route, you need to know it all inside out and have it bang on, do you have a reduced available? You might as well not bother going in and start looking for a new job.

You took the ■■■■■ you took the risk, they busted ya, hold your hands up, it’s a fair cop guv.

I realise that makes me a worm with a mortgage and a ■■■■ life

Joe Royal- they won’t be ringing me mate until 09.28. That’s when I will be turning my phone back on (as I walk into the office)

Stevieboy-that is the route I took, well done; award yourself a badge. What I find funny is that worms are often stuck on hooks as bait.

The people who get upset generally ARE the worms, the folk who quite like their job and need to pay bills (as we all do ), take no notice and get on with it…so Stevie from here on in you shall be known as Stevieworm on here

There are plenty of you today who will have the ■■■■ taken out of you by the planners…that’s because you are weak and feeble worms who will get bollocked by your overweight Mrs if you come home without a job

" The truth shall set you free "

I’m far from upset kidda, just giving my opinion, that I know you’re not arsed about, but you posted it up, so people will give their opinion. It doesn’t make it a witch hunt because a good number don’t back you.

I don’t have the ■■■■ taken out of me by the planners, but I don’t take the ■■■■ out of them either.

It’s looking like you’re as good at judging character as you are at being a truck driver!!

Keep telling us your life is great, I believe you, who are you trying to convince!

Just hold your hands up, you ■■■■■■ up, we all do

Oh yeah, I don’t think you’ll realise how much of a compliment your reply was!!

At our place, you’d just ring using the works phone and say, is it ok if I just run a couple of miles out and the answer would be yes. It’s only reasonable to tell someone what you are doing. And if you didn’t, then as we are old school, it would be the almost passing comment along the lines of ‘let us know, would you?’.Conversation over.

However, the whole running out to Chester services, I don’t get. I live just up the road from Ineos and some weekends walk the mutts round Aston and loop back through the industrial estate passing Downton’s, so I do know the area. Chester services is out of your way compared to going back to base.

forget who said it now in the 7! :open_mouth: pages, but if drivers do daft things, then it becomes an excuse of putting trackers on.

We started using trackers really early on in the mid 90s as we carry high value kit. Company selling them came and installed it into one vehicle and we told the drivers we were trialling it in that vehicle. Vehicle coming back from south west side of Paris into Calais and then all of a sudden a veer across into Belgium. To get ■■■■. :unamused: We are relaxed as a company, but that was really taking the p.
