I more often than not do a slight detour to find a suitable parking place rather than park in the first lay by somewhere near 8.59.
Nobody has ever died because of my actions. 
It depends on the circumstances with this one.
I tramp and if I’m going by my house at 4-5ish with a load on I park up on industrial estate and go home for the night.
I could tip it but I’d rather go home and get up sharp next day so i’m not really losing anything or gaining.
But if your going a bit distance out your way during the day if your on day work or on nights.
If it’s not an emergency I can see why they want to discipline you.

I’m counting myself lucky that so far I’ve been treated like an adult. I’ve never once been questioned as to what I was doing at so and so time in location X. Y or X… I did get a call from my supervisor on Friday asking if I’d finished my ■■■ break, I’d post how the conversation went after that, but the swear filter on here would blank most of it out. The most important thing is that he was having a laugh and extracting the urine, and I replied in the appropriate manner!
