I am hoping that this will mean that we will be relieved of our unofficial role as the front line troops in UK PLC’s immigration deterrent policy …
I look forward to the day they take full responsibility for our borders instead of relying on us to police them. 
Apart from the higher budget allotted to our immigration officers, it appears the only change is they will have to wear uniform…
I can already imagine that, all wearing Jack boots and slashed peak caps. 
Our borders will just look more like their homeland for these asylum seeker…
The only real deterrent is to change the way we award benefits and social aid to these people, and how we handle acts of crime by illegals…If our Country is not attractive to them, they won’t come here
