I,ve not got my glasses on .
Does the title read as "Nailing coloureds to a mast " ?
well im voting b.n.p next time, i want my country back, for christ sake you cant get real british fish and chips anymore, whats more british than that, johnny foreigners bought the lot .
i think your way off the mark mate!
iâve never voted and never will
I am, am I? Well I hope that you will enjoy living in the Sahria Republic of Britain because thatâs where itâs headed. And donât be thinking that, if it comes to some radical form of government, they will be giving you the chance to vote them back out of office.
the endless line of chinless ex public schoolboys
In this government? Which ones? After all that ex-British Rail ferry steward Prescott, who certainly ainât ex-Public School, alone has enough chins to fill the Hong Kong phonebook.
However, I did abstain from voting at the last election.
Abstension is at least better than just not bothering as you have taken the toruble to inform yourself and to consider the options even if, in the end, you cannot support any of them. But there may be a broader issue here. If the choice were between a radical government - either right or left or even Muslim - or one that would at least keep the UK looking like the UK then you might be forced to abandon your search for political utopia and vote for the one that would do least damage.
Also I think it unwise to abstain on the basis of a partyâs pre-election manifesto. We know full well that they donât mean a single word they say and, whatever they have said, they will do complete U turns once in âpowerâ if they sense that is the way that the wind of opinion is blowing. The present crowd is a perfect example. Supposedly âLabourâ they in fact have policies that Thatcher would have been proud to have though-up.
all the lawers currentley getting rich by dragging deportation cases through the courts for appeal after appeal should be forced to pay back every penny they have earned from these cases
And who is senior partner in a law firm that do exactly that work? Mr Blairâs gracious lady wife. So thatĂÂĄs not going to happen.
I have to agree with some of the above statement . Anyone who casts away there vote has no right to include themselves into an adult conversation about the current political and social climate within Great Britain . They shunned there opinion when it mattered , but yet expect to include themselves into any political topics
David Miller Hear,here!!
davids made some very good points, unfortunately he âcanâtâ be part of this debate because he voted with his feet and (zb) off to spain, i canât because i refuse to except the sham that some call democracy, where you put your cross on a paper for your chosen party based on pre election promises and then six months later after gaining power that same party turn round and tell you theyâve changed their minds, but not to worry to much, because we know whats best for you, after all your only working class!
small language edit mm
after all your only working class!
Maybe if only the âworkingâ classesâm - i.e. those of us who are actually working and not scrounging off the state - were given the vote and a say in what was required in this country then perhaps things would look up.
The queues at the poling booth would certainly be shorter!

paul b Anyone can be part of this debate. This is a discussion forum & anyone who has a point of view can post on here . David Millers views are as valid as yours no matter where he chooses to live. The problem with these forums is that there is group of people that are not interested in solutions to the problems they are only in it for the argy-bargy . And are loath to find an agreement on anythingâŚI mean, where`s the fun in thatâŚ?
David Miller:
If you are British and of voting age then the fault is yours and yours alone. And if you are one of the increasing number of people who just canât be bothered to vote then you need to wind your neck in and shut-up right now because you have nothing further to say. .
Harry, I think paulbâs replies may have been in response to this part of Davids post
I would only say that I most certainly do vote in the country where I am now allowed to - everytime I get the chance.
Bones: I see.

There is little racism in this country. The problem is that the left accepts no criticism of anyone who hasnt been born in this country. Accuse the Polish of dragging down our wage, racist. Accuse an Arab of being backwards because of the way they treat women, racist. Support your national team, racist. Sujest that someone living in this country should be able to speak english, racist, it goes on and on.
Havnât thrown myt two pennâorth in cos these discussions have as many views as people who post, and have a habit of becoming a dog chasing its own tail, but have to say I agree absolutely with Ralliesport. This countryâs national and foreign policy is just political correctness gone mad
Cheers
Steve
Dr. Keys, when you are quoting somebody please make sure you know what you are doing and attribute the comments to the correct person
Ralliesport, when you are quoting me please make sure you donât go off at a tangent and talk about something completely different. We were talking about inaccurate information, nothing to do with racism. Do me a favour and google âwhite muslimsâ. Do they hate themselves
OK my mistake, not a question of NOT KNOWING WHAT IM DOING. Anyway im gonna â â â â out, cos that is the precise reason I didnt join the discussion before, it makes people get offensive and hot under the collar, and i cant be doing with it, you can all argue amongst yourselves
At the end of the day this discussion brings out 2 kinds of people, Those who object to someone coming to their country and those who dont.
I am a tad racist i hate Islam with a passion ( 2 years in Leicester taugh me to) and i also hate anyone who wants to come and do my job for less than i can, because it makes me fel threatened.
One of the biggest problems is that all i do is drive a truck i am a labourer at the end of the day nothing more nothing less and i am easily replacable by ANYONE from another country who wants to do my job for ÂŁ200 less a week, thats fine for those of you who sympathise with them but my problem is i still have to feed my family, pay my bills, and keep a roof over their heads.
If i had the option to live 6-10 in a house and have very little outgoings then yes i could do my job for as little as they can but i chose not to, RobK and Scanny you are both welcome to come and live in my house when its crunch time and we have no option.
We live in a little island years ago we invited the Afro Carribeans over as they would shovel â â â â for 2p a day and go home happy, We invited the Asians over because we felt guilty about their past and the English â â â â â â their country, most of them hate you for it and always will but as long as we live with the enemy within we will never truly be able to defend ourselves against their hatred.
WHY is it so acceptable to let everyone and anyone walk in to our country, take jobs, commit crimes, bring their own cars without paying our tax or insurance, send money home to ailing relative which does â â â â all for our economy (one of the strongest in the world( about 4th if you want to be precise)).
Soon we will have ZERO unemployment and you know what that means? no â â â â â â â jobs for anyone who is British and hasnt got one, but some foerigner has a job and a nice car and is feeding their family well while someone who is British has no job!!!
THATS WRONG,VERY WRONG.

Well thanks Alex, but Iâd rather live in a cardboard box under a motorway flyover than with Scanny77.

This ainât your country. You are a foreigner. Why are you here
We have a few of you down at our place. They stick together like â â â â on a shovel like all foreigners do. That suits me fine as I canât understand their gibberish.
Itâs funny how the Scots call themselves British when it suits. Well, Iâve got news for you.
Youâll never be a countryman of mine.
Jammy is only trying to pull the drawbridge up.
Even the famous Arnie Schwarzenegger is anti-immigrant now he has got his green card.
Oh dear! Bombsssssssssss Awayyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
