My Class C test. - PASSED -

Aright folks.
Just finished second day of training.

I swear my neck is sore from looking in mirror’s so often! Guess i expected it really… bum is a bit numb too

So far so good really. Got to grips with the four over four alot better today, however i flicked the switch twice today for some reason going from 7th to 3rd thinkin i was in 5th(in a car)…! gotta not do that…

Just gotta learn my practical questions now. Anyway, just thought i’d add in here little bits until my test on Tuesday… YIKES!

3rd day over.
Thought i did well today. One mistake taking a small roundabout in 6th when apparently i should have been in 5th, althought the lorry pulled round fine …
Monday is practising the reversing exercise and the controlled stop, then tuesday test.

I hate N.Ireland country roads, too small! :unamused:

Hi CurtNI, From what you’re saying, it looks like you’re about right for the stage that you’re at in your training.

Good Luck for Tuesday mate!! :grimacing:

Cheers dave.
Im not even nervous…!

As they were driving along I got my trainees to do -
Forward - raise vision
n/s mirror
forward - raise vision
speedo - glance
o/s mirror
forward - raise vision
speedo - glance
n/s mirror
etc etc

and they could only move their head in an easy relaxed fashion

Yep, sounds like what im doing.

Spend more time looking left, right and down than forward it feels.

Remember to RAISE YOUR VISION to the horizon every time you look forward - this will assist you in forward planning and allow you space & time to look in the other places.

Well thats that. Passed with 8 minors.

Im Happy :sunglasses:
Just gotta find a job now, might be difficult being 22, but I should find something!

Thanks Rog!!
Bring on the C+E :open_mouth:

Well Done on the pass.

I’m not sure if your age may be a problem… but… if you’re happy to start with agency work, you could try, Lynn Recruitment.

I know they have a few clients on their books who are willing to give newbies a chance of a start. (Both C and C+E)

I’ve managed to get a start on the Artics through them. Probally the same for most agencies… you have to sign up before they will give you any info.

But it might be worth looking into.

Oh… by the way… I’m not endorsing this agency in any shape or form… Only mentioning them as I’ve been able to get a start through them.

:grimacing: CONGRATULATIONS CurtNI

Nice one mate.

well done that person

regards
Paul

I will look into that tetley, thanks.

Cheers Dave! and snowdog!
