I agree with rob on this one, maybe they have more money than sense…i cant understand why people spend lots of money telling everyone they drive a Volvo…Daf…Scania etc…when all of these trucks have the name across the grill anyway…then there are those who want to tell us how many horses they have as well…big letters painted on the side saying…450…470…580…etc…whats that all about…more money than sense…like the brigade who try and beat each other with how many spot lights they can fit on the front…ive seen 12...6 top..6 bottom...i never need anything more than my normal beams...Maybe they should work for a proper company like mine....you musnt show, name plates..cuddly toys..in fact nothing in the window except tax,o` licence…dart tags…no flags…spotlamps…the windscreen should be clear…if not you get a disciplinary…its because the company own the trucks…not the drivers…and on the days when they are resting…others drive those vehicles.
sounds like you’re secretly miserable about not being allowed to put your own mark on the truck you drive, and that other people drive it
i put whatever mods i want on my bosses unit, im the only one who ever drives, if im off, its off, and thats how I like it.

Every one is diffrent , A chap on Brs once had to pick my truck up from Yorkshire and when he got back he reported that my truck stunk of air freshners 
, the chap stopped him in his tracks by reminding him his truck stank of crap and ■■■■

The chap never ever washed or cleaned his truck .
Id love some on the front of my car, but id prefer them with rude words on instead of Scania or Volvo

They are ■■■■ flaps actually, they help stop any splashback onto the paintwork when having a piddle in the MSA lorry park.

Now a rose or a small butterfly on a pert buttock is ok, but no, a bloke with a lorry on his back looks as bad as mudflaps the wrong way round.
Chains on the bumper are to stop static, CD’s in the window shield you from speed cameras, blue lights make you gay and none of those things are ever seen on the cool wall

well i have read a few comments about this but cant be ar*ed to read them all but my opinion is simply this it is the drivers/owners choice to how they want their motor to look i actually think it looks smart,it seems some people on here drive for a living just for the money and not for liking the job and to be in a smart looking motor…if mud flaps (fitted in the wrong place…fool) take 1mpg away from the factory set up then these must be proper heavy or extremely big …some pride effort and money is poured into makeing motors look smart and worthy of going to shows such as truckfest and seems that there are some drivers that will travel a distance and give up a weekend to visit truck shows which in my eyes is how most drivers used to be about 20 years ago it was a great job to have and a great laugh untill people like you came along and started killing it off …my opinion only

I enjoy the job but I’ll only have “bling” on it if the firm pay for it. Not my job to make it look good.
