The fridge belonged to A Wall Transport Doncater. It was pulled by Thompson Transport Barnsley who owned the guy at the time,it worked out of Frezzing and Cold Store Services Kirk Sandall Doncaster. It was fitted with a Petter fridge with a petrol engine (and yes very noisey by todays standards)

That looks like the Albion reiver I got a lift with kieth roddis on night trunk he dropped me at Harlow on his way to bethnal green

I did some haulage work for Mason Bros in 1980/81, the company was being run then by Alan and Stuart.

Yes some of the wagons were painted in Myatts logo, but there were still a few in Masons colours also.

I remember Pat Flanagan,he used to call at our house to see my dad who used to repair watches,he used to park his scammell on the bit of land between the old market and the catholic club in maltby.I think he passed away a few years ago,i will ask stuart saunders the next time i call in to his butchers shop on maltby high street.Regards paul.

Its very good to see all those names again I am going to copy them down and send them to Alan Sixsmith it would be great to see his face when he sees them me being on trucknet has opened things up for me i can tell yer.
