I think you’ve missed the bit that too many of those birds in my teens preferred to look for that with blokes like Savile and Gary Glitter not me and now they’re all moaning about it.
But no I’ve always looked for quality not quantity and it all depends on your view of the object of the excercise in those mid teens early 20’s.Shagging loads and leaving loads isn’t/wasn’t the object for some of us obviously when it was all about finding just one and most of the same age marriages that I know of from around the time have involved the type of marriage based on being with the same girl from her teens to date.

What I’m saying is that they didn’t ‘deserve’ what happened to them BUT at the end of the day many of them ( not all of them ),with normal intelligence levels and within an age range within which they knew what they were doing,made the choice themselves,between giving blokes of their own age like me,who were out there looking for a young wife,a chance,compared to going backstage,at their own choice,with zb’s like Savile and ‘Gary’ zb ‘Glitter’.Because they weren’t exactly dragged kicking and screaming off stage and none of them complained about being groped or whatever by them at the time.In addition to which much of the ‘groping’ was done on camera with no complaints from anyone including the girls or their fathers or anyone else including the law.
So why the zb should I have the slightest sympathy for those girls now considering that blokes like me have paid at least as high,if not higher,price for their stupidity and zb morals as they have.

Lunchtimes at the factory it was a case of down the pub with everyone else regardless of age wether 16-65 at lunchtime and until closing time when at technical college on day release and no one gave a zb about age wether it was drinking at 16/17 or blokes in their 40’s-50’s chatting up and/or marrying mid teens on birds.
But in my experience there was no shagging unfortunately because too many of the girls were either looking for anything from something ‘casual’ to marriage with older blokes.Or they just weren’t there at all because there weren’t enough of them compared to the amounts of blokes who were looking for one and those that were were often already spoken for before the age of 16 by the lucky zb’s who went to mixed schools as opposed to the unlucky ones who didn’t.
While it was nothing unusual to find 16 year old birds with great knockers doing two page full frontal photo shoots not in some illegal so called paedo conspiracy but big name soft ■■■■ mags even in 1980.

By the same yardstick the pc world of today seems to have gone nuts the other way in which DLT has been lumped in with the same ‘issues’ as Savile had,just for (allegedly) putting his hand up a 17 year old bird’s skirt,which he denies,and East Enders storylines which seem to reflect the social values of a world in which it’s considered better for two blokes to marry each other than for someone like me to be involved in an age gap love story and marriage with Abi.No surprise which storyline would have (rightly) brought loads of complaints down on the BBC’s head in 1972 compared to which one would in the zb’d up pc world of 2012.

Not really there’s always been a big difference between wanting to marry and have a family early with a young wife in a decent relationship,compared to the bs idea of casual,no strings,shag em and leave em type zb regardless of the era,age and age gaps.
Which is why Di Spencer didn’t end up getting groped or shagged,either on camera or backstage,on TOTP etc by Savile or Glitter before Prince Charles got her.What happened next in that marriage was another issue totally unrelated to his age though.Sanity maybe who knows.
So did my Dad before,and for a few years after,he got married to my mum until they could raise the deposit for a house.Housing costs have always been a bit of an issue here unlike oop zb North where no one with any sense wants to live.

As I’ve said any mid teens girl with normal intelligence levels wouldn’t have got into that situation if she didn’t want to be there.I was there in the day and the fact is those girls would have been too busy with all the blokes of their own age who wanted them than zb’ng about with Savile and zb Glitter.
The ones I’m talking about just fitted the description of groupies and I,for one,had marked their card at the time so I’m not at all surprised at what happened to them.Although,admittedly,at the time,it was a case of having an idea of what was going on back stage as the groupy culture was well known at the time and what I’d seen on camera even that being more than I’d ever got near to getting from any bird of my own age at the time and probably wouldn’t have asked them for anyway until I’d got to know them for a while ‘if’ they’d have given me that chance.
