Treage…done by rescue teams to assess where needy patients are first and possible fuel leaks for fire etc etc…then every service is working from the same hymn sheet and its easier to direct crews and manage different problems .

I remember as a young lad being out with my dad in the lorry.
He taught me in fog to drive with the radio off and window open, when I asked why;
“because you will hear the crash in front before you see it”

It’s been a bad day in Kent a van hit a lorry on m20 near j2 and a biker had crash at Ashford on m20as well, and tonight the m2 is shut for a crash.
These things always seem to happen just before Xmas.
I was up there this morning and it was chaos, all caused by driving too fast for the conditions, could barely see 40ft in front of me at one point.
All credit to the truck drivers that I witnessed driving sensibly, stopping in time and administering first aid.
Quite how they added it up to 130 vehicles is beyond me, maybe they counted the little toyotas on the transporters a few too many times!
m1cks:
What is nice to see is that most trucks pictured haven’t hit anything but stopped safely.
Agreed, and all their loads seem to be intact - well done lads, obviously driving within the limits of the conditions.

Wtf ■■? It’s ■■■■■■■ 1st week in September .
So who was the mystery truck driver who blocked the roundabout? I bet he was the recipient of a few choice comments at the time.
