If by some miracle ( or sharp practise ) England votes to stay in EU …
How long before Turkey is admitted as a member ■■
The Germans seem hell bent on it ( along with labour party )…
And would be another germanic disaster policy we would all live to regret like when they …
Recognised and encouraged slovenia to succeed from yugoslavia …
Or encouraged free for all migration from syria , africa , middle east etc recently …
Or creatively did a job on greeces books for euro membership …
Or thought Schengen good idea …
Etc
There seems to be a pattern in Merkel’s East German Communist links and historic German Turkish and East German Arab alliances in the Middle East. This time based on the lie that extending the EU’s borders into Asia will stop and send back the immigrants that Merkel has invited in to its existing borders. IE if it’s all about keeping them out then we can do that ourselves without the ‘help’ of Turkey. We’re being taken for fools by the EU leadership which includes Cameron being that the idea just gives EU citizenship to anyone who crosses the border with Turkey.Which just adds to the already ongoing Arab/Asian invasion of Europe.
hey hey it’s the weekend. …by the time Monday comes we as a British nation will av put in 165 million in to …the big eu pot. .money that could av been spent in this country. …and not someone elses. …all av a good 1…even dulph
OUT !! But that slimey ■■■■■■■ “Call me Dave” will do his very best to keep us in I fear, and then if we do manage to get the vote for out it will set Nicola’s gang off over the Border again, but hey! look on the bright side we might “kill” two birds with one stone ! Get out of the EU and get rid of Nicola and Alex at the same time !! Bewick.

Hiya Dennis
I’m glad you’ve come over to this side I’ve had a doing over by your best mate from Leatherhead he’s told me my political beliefs without me ever meeting him
I must admit I don’t know if that’s a blessing or a compliment

It might not be that clear cut Bewick. An out vote will probably be the end of Cameron. While Labour has an open goal by changing to an anti EU pro Scottish independence stance before any supposed referendum. In which case I think that the Scottish would have the sense to realise that they would be better off on their own but with us and Norway etc in EFTA.Than swapping British rule for the new EU German/Arab/East Euro ‘alliance’.
On that note I think that anyone who really believes that dodgy Dave will go through with his referendum promise might be disappointed if/when the zb backtracks on it.

To be fair I was only making the point that anyone who says they support the idea of the Nation State and Socialism is either a liar,or mistaken,or possibly mad,or maybe even all three as in the case of Hitler and probably Sturgeon.

Sorry CF i couldn’t resist I love the banter between your good self and Mr Bewick
I’m definitely not a ■■■■ that’s Herr Merkel and I can’t be doing with Jimmy Krankee North of the border either
As I’ve said I’m not anti European I just don’t want to be ruled by them

I thought Dave was stepping down before next election , to spend more time with his investments ■■?
That leaves 2 contenders : Osbourne and Johnson
Ossy will no doubt feel duty bound to participate with ‘In’ campaign .
If 'In ’ fails he will slag dave , and run 4 PM.
If ‘In’ wins he will grab the glory and tun 4 PM
The interesting 1 is Johnson , because he really needs to be on winning side .
I expect him to go with 'Out" because he will gain the most . PM for 10 + years probably
All it would take is for Corbyn to have a light bulb moment when he realises that Socialism won’t work and go for Nationalism and protectionism instead and the Cons would be toast. If the crisis in our steel industry won’t change his mind in that regard nothing will.
As for Johnson his opposition to Theresa May’s anti immigration speech shows that he is closer to Merkel than Farage.

Leaving the EU would be a catastrophe for the UK. Our currency and markets are already tanking because of the mere possibility of it (other countries can’t believe we are even considering it).
The recession that will be caused by us leaving the EU will not be good for jobs, or wages.
Our ongoing uncompetitiveness when we are outside the EU will not be good for jobs, or wages.
Outside the EU we will be completely unable to do anything about EU policy, yet we will still be completely subject to EU laws when dealing with EU countries.
The fallacy that wages will rise because Polish drivers won’t be able to work here is just a mere fantasy. The economy will shrink as many businesses go bust. There will be more (British) drivers looking for work than there are jobs, which will keep wages down.
We complain about the refugee crisis at Calais, but if we leave the EU the camps will be at Dover.
We will not “save money” by leaving Europe, it will cost us a fortune. Only 8% of economists believe we there is a possibility the UK could be better off outside of the EU, vs 75% who believe we will be worse off outside of the EU.
To put it simply, leaving the EU will be very bad for truck drivers, as well as for the whole country.
If you’re considering voting to leave the EU, please look into it very seriously. We only get one shot at this. Leaving the EU will damage our economy for generations.
“Be careful what you wish for! Switzerland and Norway are both small countries with specialised ‘niche’ economies: Switzerland with its often-criticised banking system, and Norway with its massive oil reserves. But their industries have to follow EU rules as that’s their main market. As non-members, they have no say over the adoption of those EU rules. They cannot defend their interests. They have, effectively, lost sovereignty through their isolation. Nor does staying out save money -– the Norwegian contribution per capita to the European budget is about the same as that of the UK! For the Norwegians, being non-members, it is taxation without representation.” richardcorbett.org.uk/category/mythbusters/

Care to explain how?
From my angle, I cannot see it being any different to now. The French will still be doing nothing (as always)
The only thing that will happen is that the Channel ports will stagnate as haulage firms find other ports to sail from.

Strange that you should have watched the Daily Politics show
Norway only incorporate 9% of EU rules/laws
Switzerland incorporate 0%

Save all the bs and in campaign threats and scare tactics. The economists all said we’ll be better off in the EEEC/EU since we joined it the result being a trade deficit and net contributions running into the billions ever since. They also said we’d be better off in the Euro. That’s in addition to the issue of lost sovereignty. However feel free to provide some actual figures.Important, but obviously for your argument, inconvenient stuff, like our trade balance with the EU and the contributions bill and economic growth figures for 1970-2 v now for example, showing exactly how we’re supposedly better off since we joined the scam.

Not taxation without representation.More like submission to economic blackmail because, unlike us,they aren’t in a position to take on the EU in and win a trade war.
As for taxation without representation yes one secessionist battle against the UK colonial occupation and federation.Only to end up in a bigger much worse war of secession between federalist v anti federalist among itself.

The National Council, the lower house of the Swiss parliament, voted by 126 to 46 to formally withdraw the application.
Lukas Reimann of the Swiss People’s Party proposed the motion, arguing it was “high time” to withdraw the application. He also gave a good-luck message to the people of Britain who wish to quit the bloc: “This is a clear and historical message from the Swiss parliament to British voters. We wish you the best of luck for Brexit."
