What people who think it’s a choice fail to understand that if it were a choice almost nobody would be gay. No one would choose a harder life. No one would choose going through school with that big weight on them. No one would choose parents and loved ones potentially being angry and upset and in some cases disowned. No one would choose coming out their entire lives. Because that’s the reality, it’s often portrayed as the big coming out being the end of your troubles but it’s just the first of oh so many, and each time wondering if it changes the other persons opinion of you. It’s much better these days but being gay does mean you have a harder time growing up.

Even the normally all inclusive country of Sweden with its long history of welcoming incomers into a country often described as one of the best places on Earth to live is feeling the strain of uncontrolled and unfettered mass migration

To a conservative, a Liberal is “Center Left”.
To a leftie - a Liberal is like Blair “An authoritarian (rather than right winger) pretending to be a Labour supporter” or “A Liberal Scot pretending to be Tory Lite English and British” if you will.
