Can you dig up statistics for on the job death rates of truck drivers vs. policeman/women? Thanks. Genuinely interested but cba to do it myself right now - I’d start googling for it and eventually end up watching videos of women in police uniforms demanding ■■■ from their captives before I get to any relevant results.

According to the Police Federation 10 officers have been killed on duty in the last 10 years so probably one of the safer occupations to be in.

id like to hear at least by anecdote several times a year of a thief getting duffed up by the old bill. you never hear of a fight these days where the offender ends up cant walk properly again or similar

the woodentops dont like being observed with all the scummys have cameras nowadays plus they build the cells,( sorry, custody suites) on the ground floor so theres no stairs to fall down accidentally.

The people who have been arrested with regards to the PC’s death all come from that well known law abiding section of the community that prefer their houses to have wheels.
I have full sympathy for the PC killed as no one should go to work and be killed, however if the hierarchy in the police hadn’t taken such a lassez affaire approach to policing this section of society then perhaps they wouldn’t be dealing with the death of a policeman killed by people who feel that due to the way they feel live feel that they can do as they please. The phrase you reap what you sow springs to mind and senior officers are guilty of negligence but perhaps now it has happened to one of their own they may now put a bit more effort into policing this group.

It is’nt just certain groups though is it, look at the present trend of stabbings, not just in the cesspit crime capital of Sadiq’s London either, a 17 yr old lad stabbed an innocent guy in Newcastle centre just last week.
Life is so cheap these days, kids getting stabbed for their top range trainers ffs, drug dealers carrying guns as a matter of routine on the streets of Britain, scum and dregs thumbing their noses at the Police, who reply to it by having their famous ‘‘purges’’ …but unfortunately said purges are usually to do with traffic. :unamused:

A no nonsence hard line approach is needed by the higher echelons of Police, starting with saying ■■■■■■■■ to all this wishy washy pc stuff.
Doing away with the present situation, where they are frightened to nick anybody, just because they fit a certain racial profile, it’s time to protect the public and stop ■■■■ ing about, … as they are making the lads and lasses on the front line of the Police look like incompetent inept idiots, this latest tragic episode being the result.
