We just had a letter from them to our works saying that as from 1st august they are going to start prosecuting truck drivers who do not have lights on when parking overnight in roads or Laybys they say we should be parking in proper service areas.
All the crappy laybys along the A14 are pretty much empty, those that are in them appear to be just having 45s (day cab lorries etc).

Dunno about that, there was quite a few parked up for the night the other evening.
Sorry should of added that ive just come down the 14 now from m1 to the orwell crossing and only just parked up… It mite be in my head though…
