I give up.......

Im convinced some people on here are truck hating lesbians who long on to vent there venom,or have never driven anything bigger than a transit van :unamused:

The lorry driver of course all the time in the wrong didnt you know that

Just an answer to the above question would do.You can bet that the average Nissan Micra or Vauxhall Corsa driver would say that it was the car in front that caused the multi vehicle pile up by stopping when it shouldn’t have done. :unamused:

There is a slight difference in stopping in lane and making a right hand turn from the inside lane across the central reservation without due care for other traffic :exclamation:

Carryfast and Albion are just another version of Rog, sitting up there on their pinnacles polishing their halos and preaching to everyone about how perfect they are and how everyone else is a naughty trucker. The fact that they are basically saying it was all the trucker’s fault and the Micra did nothing wrong just tells you all you need to know about them. In summary, [zb]s.

I think in this case it was the stopping in lane 1 first to make the turn which caused the problem for the car travelling behind it however the truck wasn’t following the Micra. The problem for the truck was the seperation distance between it and the car in front of it.

So re phrase the question.Idiot in a Nissan Micra stops dead in lane 1 while trying to cut onto the slip road having missed a motorway exit resulting in the type of pile up as described in the question  .The same question applies who would be to blame for the resulting multi vehicle pile up regardless of who/what started it all off. :bulb:

was it the old bloke over the road who was flashing his todger at passers by  :unamused:

I think you really need to think about what you have just posted.I realise there are some jokers on here but I have a horrible feeling you are serious.God help us all.

Mr Green at the end would suggest it was meant to be posted tongue in cheek as a crack at the DVLA giving everybody’s details out willy nilly.

This smiley is for you

I’d guess that albion was actually referring to the comments after the green smiley. :bulb:

I am not a version of anyone but I take pride in my driving and do not want to be labelled with the herd as a big bully truck driver.
On any given day some I see some horrendous driving and the sad thing is some do not even realise the danger they put themselves or others in.Attudes are the biggest problem.

I am right and everyone else is wrong…unfortunately it is not always the case.

So…What happened then

ROG actually said that didn’t see a problem and that it was all up to the driver of the car following the Micra to keep going through on the inside considering that there was a truck close behind it which might not have had enough time or room in front of it to stop.Which seems to be more or less what happened, luckily for the truck driver in this case. :open_mouth: :smiling_imp:

Anyone who thinks that it’s not their responsibility,to leave enough room in front,to pull up with plenty of time an space to spare,if the vehicle in front stops for whatever reason,is definitely wrong. That’s nothing to do with attitudes that’s just basic driving skills. :bulb:

Its all about perception and unfortunately we all do not perceive things the same way.Carryfast I agree entirely with you last paragraph although attitude comes into it.
The problem being a lot of drivers that drive too close think they are actually keeping a safe distance.Sometimes it takes an accident before they realise their error.

ROG:
If was the car in front of you I would have used the space to the left to go around it especially with a truck behind me so it would leave the truck more room

I think your reactions were fine for the conditions

If horn was used then it was pointless

Did you watch the video ROG?

So you post a video up on youtube complaining about another driver, then come on here to ■■■■■ about it, yet you were sitting far to close to the car infront given the conditions and the weight of your lorry…

obviously not too close… he stopped didnt he?

Well done he did stop, but he was still too close for the conditions. Should of had atleast 4 sec gap due to the rain and weight of his lorry, had he of been sitting the right distance away it wouldnt of turned into the drama you see in the video. Yeah ok the car driver did something very silly but abit rich for the op to come on giving it the billy big ■■■■■■■■ when his driving isnt exactly on par either.

You should change your name to PERFECT ROG.

FTFY

In this case ROG only blamed the driver of the car which the truck was following for not going through on the inside to get away from the truck. :open_mouth: :smiling_imp:

Sounds about right for him, although one wonders how he manages to see anything at all from high up there on his horse.

Or maybe he is a professional driver something there seems to be a distinct lack of these days.

He’s certainly a professional something, although “driver” is not the word I’d use.

How come you are much funnier and witty on facebook , a big thanks to Mick C for the link to your page

although to be honest I cant belive it is you as you have rather a lot of friends , anyway s HTH.

another point i thought of earlier is where is the evidence that if the car stopped dead the truck wouldn’t havebeen able to stop? most of these camera systems only tell half the story and the lorry may have had plenty of stopping power in reserve■■?

talk about a witch hunt…

So Rob K and Carryfast turn up to a thread that was about a badly driven micra and now it has become a brawl. This is why I love Trucknet …

Very werid that, NOT!

I hope she gets crocs for Christmas.
