Jesus FOOOKING H Christ.
You could probably have got away with hitting him on purpose. That has to natural selection at work.
Is the original video clear enough to get the plate? If so, report him.
He certainly did a foolish thing, but your reactions seemed a bit slow
Lucky there stevo, what a knob eh? makes you wonder what they are thinking about,if they are thinking at all, stay safe.
regards dave.
its so bad its funny. its bell ends like this that kill people. just get them off the road and have their licenses thrown away forever, no points, no fine, no second chances just get them off the road.
Maybe blowing the horn was about 5 mins too late
What a ■■■■
Good extended use of horn fella - how did you not utter one word
If was the car in front of you I would have used the space to the left to go around it especially with a truck behind me so it would leave the truck more room
I think your reactions were fine for the conditions
If horn was used then it was pointless
i would be up the bank by now, music would sent me to sleep seriously that kind of situation is becoming more common

Using the horn gives me sense of enormous well being - I feel I have made a statement.
I s’pose it is pointless tho’
Not sure what the problem is here ■■
I thought that kind of thing was standard behaviour these days lol.
Absolutely disgusting driving.Of course we truck drivers never do things like that or worse!
What an idiot, these people rely on other road users doing the correct thing to avoid an accident, but it’s almost inevitable that one day he will do a manoeuvre like that and find the other drivers around him are not concentrating and the result will be an accident.
I agree that there was nothing wrong with your reactions, holding on the horn was a bit pointless but understandable in the circumstances.

But have you ever seen anything that bad done by UK drivers ?

Apparently, those trucks were diverted off and there was a low bridge just past the slip road with no signage.

The way I saw it was a speed limit set too high for the situation of the road works going on close to the live lane. The car driver at the front of the line seemed to be taking account of that. With the cars behind then allowing their seperation distances to be eroded instead of maintaining them and a truck driver who should have known better the worst of all in doing that both before and during the incident at 1.30.

Thinking■■? If they had to think about drawing their next breath they’d f%*$ing suffocate. That type have to work hard to be only moderately useless…

As it happens I have.Thankfully not everyday though.I have had a Class 1 since 1977 and done millions of miles over the years but it infuriates me the poor standards from so many truck drivers these days not to mention their bad attitude towards other road users.Sad state of affairs.
On the bright side though, at least by breaking hard you didn’t give ■■■■ Turpin (the gatso) a chance to flash!
I can’t believe some of the posts here. Regardless of anything else going on the red Nissan Micra driver, slammed on in the inside lane and turned across a running live lane with cars running fast (and within the limit due to the camera) without any thought. If the Police could find this car from the number plate they would do the driver for DANGEROUS DRIVING. The truck driver can be doing any speed, brake late or beep his horn but it does not detract from the complete stupidity of this car driver.
This week we have had at least 1 person die and 2 airlifted to hospital on the m6 in cheshire and several accidents following that throughout the country. It could be that someone had a blow out somewhere that casues an accident but its the utter idiots like this car driver who may get away with it, but ultimately its the same idiots that cause major accidents. What the hell goes through their mind !
As for the other video regarding trucks, that was on one of the funny TV clips programmes (hence the speeded up footage and music). They were diverted off the road at the bottom of that slip road you see them coming from due to an accident (you can see the amount of vehicles diverting due to the accident) but then the bridge that the camera is mounted on isn’t high enough for trucks which is why you see them doing what they do. They should really just park up but hey ho.
