This is my trusty GoPro 2 attached to the canopy of my RC aeroplane. Pity it was a dull day
nice flight fella, how long have you been flying?
i bought my gopro hd about a week before the the hd2 was announced but still an awesome bit of kit
Racing motorbikes, scottish championships and had a little dabble on real road circuits but the wifes not too keen on those.

If there’s something you really want to do just push the boat out & give it a go, I’m no Valentino Rossi but I’ve raced at BSB & at the 2008 British Moto GP & have some fantastic memories, had I never raced I’d have found something to spend my ‘hard earned’ on.Ross.
PS, if there’s any advice you need on getting started if you do choose to give it a go, pm me & I’ll be happy to help.
fair play fella, not alot of people can say that.
when did ya race at bsb? my mate used too, possibly in 04 and has spannered usually in super sports since he retired, he raced with haslam, toseland and pretty certain stoner as well when he first came over when on superteens and 125’s.
and although he’s up on the karting wins, he’s only got a better lap time than me once a few years ago when bsb was at croft, i went with a load of them to teesside karting, i was battling with one of the lowes twins for a while an got an overtake in, although he did get me back! but the way they’re going it’ll be one to tell the grandkids

ahh, cowdenbeath seems not to be doing much in the way of race meets these days, must admit lochgelly is a good place and the owners are brilliant. Dont know if youve been to lochgelly latel y but theve added a new section for us (usually results in some sketchy driving/crashes/spins lol

Hardly suprising… The North-East used to be the place for British hockey with teams like Durham, Whitley Bay, Cleveland and Crowtree… Kinda sad that the Newcastle Jesters/Vipers don’t compete in the top league anymore but I guess it all comes down to financing due to the fact that it’s a minority sport here in the UK.
I used to follow the Wasps in the 80’s, and knew the team very well due to the fact they used to drink in my Uncles pub. I still have a signed programme somewhere.
They were the most watched team in the country at the time, with the Riverside Rink holding around 3000 people on a Sunday night home game.
Ken.
Football and riding Motocross bikes

They look lovely. Calligraphy is a little hobby of mine too. Make us a fountain pen with an italic nib.

Cheers mate
I’ve been flying about 4 years. That was a test flight, to see how much the camera affected the aeroplane. We also tried to get a bit of formation flying on the go but its alot harder than you think
Definitely agree with you about the GoPro, serious bit of kit but quite pricey too. Especially when its attached to an aeroplane with no real way of stopping it falling off if the adhesive decides to give way.
I usually keep it in the back window of my car now. Provides some great entertainment when someone decides to tailgate you, notices the camera, then for some reason wont come within 100 yrds of the car

Mountain biking but don’t have enough time to go as often as I like. Cooking a few beers in the local and I like going to a museum or just walking round looking at old buildings once a month or so.Similarly, I like local history. I love walking through town and looking above the modern shop fronts, seeing links to the past.
I like walking around old cemeteries; Not so morbid, the old graves often say more about the persons’ lives than modern ones. I’ve found several ornate graves of apparent “nobodies” (no pun intended) and have read how they shaped the town.
One wealthy shop owner lost 5 of his 6 sons in the Great War, his tombstone commemorating them and where they’re buried in France.Newcastle is good for that has a lot of history within the city
Also a trip to Bamburgh just up the North East coast where you will find grace Darling grave & museum
Have to say that in the right weather Bamburgh Castle makes a pretty stunning sight.
Headstones and graveyards also have a fascination, largely due to the interest in family history, earliest one for any of my lot is 1729 and next to that is another from 1731, also have a few interesting job related verses on some of them too.
One for drag racing

One for going around corners
What power is the pontiac running?

What power is the pontiac running?
Should be upwards of 350 bhp, but as its a 21 year old 200,000 mile engine I may be dreaming!
Still its enough to do 13.0 quarter miles ( a bit less when the nitrous oxide works)
Awful weather this year has stopped me using it all season.
Dominic Priestley, did you watch Bush Pilots on Dave, students camping in tents to save money,to get a job flying tourists in the bush for game spotting, very nice Australian girl, she got the job,and the ex Ryan Air pilot with 3000 hours, who wanted to be near his dying sister.
here comes trouble:
