I know what hard work it is and i have a few mates who still do the ringing round with a new release , (all email now and web links ) so respect for managing to do all that work from a truck !.trucking is a thing i wish i had of done when i was younger, but when i was younger i was too busy living !!
I hear you. I only have 2 artists on the books at the moment. The internet is a massive help these days. Instant communication. God knows how people coped doing things through the post. Keeps me out of trouble.
Harry, what sort of model railway do you do mostly; Proper model ie close to real life or traditional tail chaser?
I wanted to model a station on the long gone local line but the space needed to do a country station is more than my 8x4 feet baseboard I have.
Scenery making is a bit daunting for me too…
My hobbies? Wearing hi viz vests to annoy other truck drivers! Cleaning and valeting trucks on my days off! Driving trucks at the legal speed limit… and observing the result as irritated car drivers attempt to commit suicide!
They pretty much take up most of my time.

Hardly suprising… The North-East used to be the place for British hockey with teams like Durham, Whitley Bay, Cleveland and Crowtree… Kinda sad that the Newcastle Jesters/Vipers don’t compete in the top league anymore but I guess it all comes down to financing due to the fact that it’s a minority sport here in the UK.
Played at Crowtree ( not there now
) but not many team would let us play the lad could
Don’t suppose you know Jon Weaver do you?? One of the best British defencemen of his generation who started his career with Crowtree…
Was a long time ago that I played ( late 70’s early 80’s ) but name ring a bell

Mountain biking but don’t have enough time to go as often as I like. Cooking a few beers in the local and I like going to a museum or just walking round looking at old buildings once a month or so.Similarly, I like local history. I love walking through town and looking above the modern shop fronts, seeing links to the past.
I like walking around old cemeteries; Not so morbid, the old graves often say more about the persons’ lives than modern ones. I’ve found several ornate graves of apparent “nobodies” (no pun intended) and have read how they shaped the town.
One wealthy shop owner lost 5 of his 6 sons in the Great War, his tombstone commemorating them and where they’re buried in France.
Newcastle is good for that has a lot of history within the city
Also a trip to Bamburgh just up the North East coast where you will find grace Darling grave & museum
Swimming, portrait and wedding photography, baking cakes to name a few.
