CM has launched Haulage Heroes: it’s an initiative that will recognise the unsung heroes of transport. Haulage Heroes is the opportunity for you to help recognise and reward your most committed member of staff, that person who regularly goes above and beyond the call of duty.
Who can enter
Entry is open to anyone in the transport industry, whether employed by a transport operator, dealer, service agent or supplier.
Nominating a staff member
If you think one of your staff is a Haulage Hero, email commercial.motor@rbi.co.uk with:
· no more than 300 words highlighting what that person has done to deserve the accolade
· their name
· their job title
· their daytime telephone number
Nominating yourself
If you think you are a Haulage Hero, the process is largely the same: we need to know your name, job title, and daytime telephone number; you should supply 300 words about yourself that highlight what you have done to deserve the award; and your entry needs to be endorsed by a director of the business you work for.
Beat the deadline
The deadline for entry is 19 November. We will publish the results of Haulage Heroes in the 16 December issue of Commercial Motor.
