He should submit that totally genuine taxi receipt for £450k an Irish taxi driver gave him, or something.
the way i read it,its January his court case, so not long now. id bet hes been trying to buy his way out of it all. because otherwise itll cost him dear. the very fact he did it,persistent fraud , tells a lot about his real persona.i really liked him at first but there was something i didnt trust ,the fakeness of it. i once worked on the spanners myself and he didnt have a real genuineness i guess in hindsight i sensed that

the bottom line is he got charges dropped with the charge being he had a fraudulent paddy licence which by definition makes him guilty of having one though the excuse held up so the charges were dropped.
it wasnt an invisible one,but one he handed in to have classes transferred so he has to be guilty of that.
they dropped the charge before court because of a mr loophole type excuse.
to say he is a bit gormless does not excuse the fact he tried to use a false licence,it only excuses the fact they decided to drop the charges similar to the king of kebabs not being prosecuted for pulling onto a road in the range rover and getting t boned by some wifey.
its not hatred against anyone personally.
its resentment against the fact that the law differs in court if you have the money to pay a decent lawyer who will actually work for his wages,find a loophole,or a complete load of lying pish as an excuse to let you wriggle off the hook, whereas any normal person either cant afford such a luxury or is on legal aid where your solicitor goes through the motions of appearing for you without givine a toss what the outcome may be as he gets paid either way.
anyone with money would do the same as beckham and martin as its no big deal if you dont miss the costs of being able to afford a decent lawyer.
the irritation is down to the different outcome for a rich defendant compared to a working class one.
ive always thouught martin was a decent enough down to earth bloke to a similar extent that ive always thought beckham was a complete imbecile but like everyone else thats only from what you see from the various media outlets,hence nobody knows unless you know them personally which we dont.( im assuming here that he wasnt sitting on the same bus tour as you to iceland last year ( or was it sweden)?
I like the GUY as an entertainer. He gets on a mountain bike and wins the mountain bike race ,and he gets on a motor bike and wins that too. Its a bit fishy. A boys own adventure or is he a fraud.?
For one Guy Martin is not gormless. For another his finances are not in the same league as David Beckham.

People would be surprised how many top riders have never taken a bike test.

Laws are like paying tax. People don’t mind obeying them if everyone is treated the same.
You don’t have to be gormless to know whether you took a lorry test or not…after all he did lessons and test in England so not that thick about the facts was he.

the bottom line was that he got caught trying to commit fraud by wangling an fake counterfeit licence and paid a solicitor to lie his way out of it for him.
he is only doing what he can afford to do as is normal practice for similar celebrity types whereas many cant afford to, hence the money talks/dropped charges .

For sure Rossi is racing hard and is still doing amazingly well for his age. The top class is for the absolute elite but I would say Valentino and all the others it’s
