German cars

German. 3.2 litre V6 petrol continent crosser. Whisper quiet. Unbelievably fast

You’re going to need a bigger motor and preferably a manual box. :smiling_imp:

Definition of an unbelievably fast continent crosser. :bulb:

I find Audi, BMW and Merc drivers to be arrogant barstewards on the road. Second hand Audi, BMW and Merc drivers seem to be worse, lol.

I think a lot of recent BMWs have been very poor reliability wise. Niece’s 1 series has been no end of trouble and don’t think it’s got more than 50k on it.

Similarly I don’t think anything Mercedes have produced recently will still be seeing use as a taxi in Africa in a quarter of a century.

Edit to add, obviously crossed all the continents as this looks like it was taken in Australia!

BMW don’t make a V6 engine.

Looked at buying a jap car last time, but when I looked at them couldn’t believe how flimsy and tinny they were. Got another Audi for safety reasons.

I had a Lexus IS200 which was a solid heavy car,and poxy mpg to boot !!
I got so used to refusing to use my indicators while in the BM I now find it difficult not to do the same when driving me van, and that’s British I think or could be French as well, Vauxhall badged Renault Master or other way about

Not surprised . The smart roadster was okish. The smart “arse” doesn’t sound a seller.
