I thought I was badly done to no fridge or aircon you boys want to stand your ground.
Wouldn’t expect anyone to go tramping in this day and age without fridge/microwave/ aircon and inverter should all be fitted as standard obliviously not in iveco or man as just one way of doubling the value of the truck

i got neither 
last 2 days ■■■■■■■ me off, dont mind if on locals but been on long trunks in 06 axor…and being brown it absorbs the heat lol
on plus side, 7 hour shift and home by 8 lol
Mid winter here in Australia, it is currently 22c … in January it might hit 49c like it did last summer 33c is nothing lol
just get the fluid flowing sun cream shade etc.
keep yourself safe I believe you can claim back for suncream on the HMRC because it is job related.
here in Australia I claim sun cream sun glasses the lot … fingers crossed I will be back in UK for next summer.
can any one advise on how I go about getting my DCPC … I never did it prior to leaving the UK in 2011.

You blokes ain’t tough enough to be lorry drivers. Open the window, no lorry years ago had all these mod cons that you have these days, plus the cabs were more cramped with the engine in the middle. Nobody moaned we just got on with the job.
That was then, this is now. Running with open windows is no good for your ears & makes the cab dusty/dirty…
