One of my favorites has always been Tate and Lyles.
Hi, of course I am biased, but I still rate the traditional paint and signwriting of the old days, used to watch in fasination as Les Price from Craven Arms used to work his magic. I long to put another on the road, but untill the rates change it will remain a forlorn wish.
Best regards Andrew.
My vote goes to this well known Westcountry haulier;
A newish photo of a lovley old lorry…

My personal favorite has to be Fransen s Kidderminster 70s-80s livery.
As well as the traditional signwriten liveries i’ve always liked the plain ‘simple’ ones; like the later BRS regional colour schemes ,Securicor omega , Independent express , Hanbury Davies ,Hanson ,Royal mail ,Samworth bros ,Corby chilled , Alan Firmin ,Innovate logistics - they always seem to stand out
.
Here’s my contribution:
I always thought the Ripponden lorries looked good.Most of the signwiting was done by this chap
Procters of langar, yellow motors blue writing, always thought they were smart. Haven’t got any pics yet…
Hi,heres are some of my favorite liveries,a couple from yesteryear and a few from the present.
They may not be everybodies cup of tea,but I think they’re well turned out.
Cheers Bubbs,

What about Brevitts from Willenhall & Bees from Hinkley? I agree that it’s sad they all seem to be going ‘white’ nowadays

I was thinking about a thread like this for some time, here is one of my favorites.
and from a slightly different angle
I agree about the paintjob, looks nice and traditional. I always thought that when I delivered into their place in Sandy.
A few more from Radnorshire.
