hiya,
What about Robson’s that was a livery.
thanks harry long retired.

What you’ve got to bear in mind “H” is CG was probably not even born when Robsons of Carlisle were in their prime so he won’t know what your talking about for a start, and it is debatable if he even knows where Carlisle is!!! Looking at his list only proves that he has never strayed far from the Wigton/Maryport/Silloth areas during his lifetime!! and apart from the Brian Harris( he must have seen one passing through Wigton!) livery his list contains some right rubbish ,as far as liveries are concerned!! But as the saying goes “H” “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and CG’s bird is probably a sheep by the looks of his list!!! Anon II.

I like this one, looks great on the FH

Here is Morrisons from the side. Really smart livery

That made me chuckle dennis tdg and asda ! the mind boggles!

But it gets worse “LB76”!!! CG apparently hails from Fletchertown which is between Wigton and Cockermouth and is what can be only described as a real “one horse dorp” if ever there was one in north ■■■■■■■■■ Cheers Dennis.

I know it , i once spent a week there one day.

Hello Bewick,
So, We meet again! Yes, I wasn’t born when Robsons where in there prime (but I know who they are).
And I do know where Carlisle is .
And No, a Brain Harris hasn’t passed though Wigton, but I love the livery.

Now now now, calm down, you put down TDG :open_mouth: and the highlighted bit?, that’s inviting verbal abuse.

Pollocks were[are?] a very nice livery too!

David

Another one here that I always thought was a smart livery (especially when they were clean) photo belongs to Peter Davidson ex gillys driver, hope he wont mind me useing it.

Oh dear eh! I couldn’t possibly comment CG on the grounds that the “cruelty to Marras society” (CMS) would take up issue with me and I would be hauled before a Kangaroo court in the Fletchertown Social club!!! Cheers Bewick.

Hello everyone,
Yes I’m sorry Bewick. I went a bit far there. I like this CMS club. Was it set up by you■■?
I always thought CMS was ■■■■■■■■■■ Motor Services, but I was wrong again.
Thanks Stansfield for the Robsons photo, I have seen it before but in Black and White, so it’s goood tosee it in colour!

Always used to like the livery of Moffatts of Cardendens ERFs i know it was brown and cream but, was still a classic livery.
I’m sure i’ve seen one of there’s in similar livery but done in green and cream…!
