Was on my speeding awareness course today, 4 hrs of looking at my watch for most of it. Then the only interesting part of it was a questionnaire about speed limits. Easy I thought, Iv’e got this. Well how embarrassing, I got every question wrong with regards a car pulling a caravan, well I don’t have a caravan or a car trailer so assumed normal speed limits would be appropriate. 30. 60, 70 mph sounded right to me. Just shows really how much of the highway code I didn’t really know and it wasn’t just me either. We get so hung up over driver hours, WTD etc, etc. You forget the other stuff about car driving. I daresay there will be a few on here who would get them wrong too!!
got the course on 3 rd Feb , must admit I was half tempted to take fine / points , if they didn’t have photo evidence id of got the Mrs ( her car ) down as driver , then she could of done the course in morning and gone shopping round Lincoln in afternoon , though after the last course she did ( no insurance , she did on her car , I told her it covered her on mine but I’d not read small print , assumed covered 3 rd party as years ago ) maybe not , as she stopped car ( Honda Jazz) and refused to drive it as she said it was dangerous

If you don’t like someone at work, do you ask them to leave? This isn’t a big part of my life and you should really try to get one yourself and try not take this so seriously that it affects you in this way. My being on here or not shouldn’t make any difference to you, there is an ignore button you might like to try out. It will help you with your anxiety, to be perfectly honest with you, it doesn’t affect me in even the slightest teeny bit if you were here or not. How many members on here do you actually meet up with and actually know as friends? Think that should answer your concerns for you. Don’t let this lul you into thinking that a forum member is your friend if you don’t have their number in your phone. A forum is exactly this, a forum for discussion, some you agree with and others you don’t, I don’t ■■■■ up to people but then isn’t that what your doing with this post? hoping others will jump in with you? Relax and take it easy, I would be happy to hear your views on this thread about speeding awareness and it’s merits or otherwise. If it doesn’t interest you then simply move along.

Fair point. Easy done I suppose. Wasn’t it along Boothferry Hill you got done IIRC? A popular place for plod to hide with their speed guns.
I just found it amusing that Dr Damon, a harsh and vocal critic of modern driving standards, leapt to your defence. After our discussion on speed enforcement tactics not so long ago, I’m surprised you got such an easy time off him.

Yes boothferry road and I was in my car. Going from 40 to 30 is easy not to do when your on the same stretch of road and miss the fist sign as I did. Dr Damon isn’t a stupid person and will realise this fact I assume.
