Dr Damon:
Yes I’m well aware thanks that Scotland is in the dark ages.
Treading on thin ice there fella. Apart from a couple of dopes on here the Scots have a lot going for them especially compared to other parts of the UK.
Get a bloody grip man.
It’s a bit of humour regarding the lack of keeping in line with the new speed limit for trucks.
You are not as bright as you think you are fella! My statement was a bit of humour also.
UKtramp:
Was on my speeding awareness course today, 4 hrs of looking at my watch for most of it. Then the only interesting part of it was a questionnaire about speed limits. Easy I thought, Iv’e got this. Well how embarrassing, I got every question wrong with regards a car pulling a caravan, well I don’t have a caravan or a car trailer so assumed normal speed limits would be appropriate. 30. 60, 70 mph sounded right to me. Just shows really how much of the highway code I didn’t really know and it wasn’t just me either. We get so hung up over driver hours, WTD etc, etc. You forget the other stuff about car driving. I daresay there will be a few on here who would get them wrong too!!
And a lot of people towing on a car licence seem to have forgotten/ignorant that they’re not allowed in the outside lane of a motorway .
7.5 tonners, coaches rigids and artics can be added to that list quite easily lol
Had 2 trucks overtake me in roadworks in the 4th lane last night on M25, always in a rush to get a few vehicles ahead, sad really, then they will be the first to moan if they get caught doing it.
I don’t forget or am ignorant to the rules on which lane I can use but I’ll quite happily pass mouth breathers who clog up the roads using the 3rd or 4th lanes when I need to.
Why do some lorry drivers insist on giving us all a bad name by disobeying the law?
Laws that are made for road safety.
And we wonder why horrendous accidents happen. Selfish, ignorant prix that cannot stick to the rules.

The majority of car drivers don’t even know trucks are limited to 56(ish) never mind which lane they are or aren’t allowed in.
These ‘rules’ you talk about are only rough guidelines anyway.
