Hycus:
I see you are throwing the “JEALOUS” accusations around again.
It may surprise you that most grown ups have an opinion that differs from you regarding covering a truck in fairy lights and thinking it’s cool, I bet you love this time of year, Coca Cola truck advert on the telly, you with sky+, rewinding it, pause on the best bit and knocking one out, it’s not just the “holidays” that are coming in your house x
Cheers for that one, dits.
Looks like toonsy has himself a knight in shining armour to hammer out angry replies for him.
A.
Careful… I’ll get him to throw his 50,000 parcels at you.
Each to their own some say. You may think it makes your truck look smart with all the extra lights but what about the road safety side of it?
Most drivers cannot see properly at night anyway without some idiot blinding them for no reason!

I have extra lights, also frilly curtains, and one of them illuminated names on the back wall, that’s because I LIKE IT, i drive the same truck every day, and take a bit of pride in said truck, I’m not a trolley plopper, who has a different seat every day, and walks around yards with his little hand bag on wheels,. Trying to find his next seat to abuse for the day, at 51.5mph, carefull, don’t brake to hard your halo might slip into the red.
Same here, low light bar with four spots, also alcoas as they save weight and look the dogs, side deflectors and stainless Eminox stack for the team of 700 stallions to bellow through…
Only got 500, donkeys but it’s enough to pass a plobber, and wake em up with a blast of the billy big wheels horns. Wooooshh
The TGV dual tone 150db train horns i have behind the front grill will make any plobber jump out of his seat

The road safety side. More lights makes me visible, (be safe be seen) and if they can’t see me a blast with the billy big, wheels horn, the can dam well hear me, so get out the bloody way, you blind git.
nick2008:
And unless he can isolate them when a bulb goes or change the bulb . Here’s your fine
He won’t get fined for a non mandatory fitted lamp inop in fact the extra lamps come in handy. We run twin tail lamps on our motors and that means you can have a few bulbs out while still being legal.

Correct, different breeds.
I don’t have a lightboard, I like to think that 14 spotlights makes up for that
Going by the sheer number of fleet spec wagons cutting about with their fog lights on despite a total lack of fog, there is a serious amount of excessive lights jealousy going on!

OMG please tell me you are not serious
Of course he’s serious. 6 on the top bar, 4 in the visor and 4 on the bull bar.

Correct.
Plus the bumper spots and main headlight beams that’s 20 when I flick the full beams on, along with the air horns it really helps get the peasants out the way.
They’re also good for burning the retinas out of mouth breathers in cars who can’t dip their beams in the dark.
Anyone who spends North of £4.99 “decorating”, “modding”, “pimping” a vehicle that they do not own, insure or tax for a company that they do not own, insure or pay tax for hasn’t had ■■■■■■ contact with another human being since they first started tramping, and probably chose to work 60hrs a week whilst their partner was sleeping around most nights of the week

Nothing wrong with pimp and bling, those who go to the bother of a few accessories invariably look after it better than those with the peasant spec supermarket truck… as long as the cost doesnt exceed £4.99 of course…

He wouldn’t even get near a supermarket truck. Still stuck in a rigid by the looks of it. And still struggling with drivers hours as well going by post history. Oh dear.
