Should do what some of the high horses in this thread do and never do anything wrong, that way you wouldn’t need it.
The government/media has done a great job in turning a reasonable set of rules in to something which berates and castigates the purps to the point that they shouldn’t work over 10 years later. Ridiculous.
Morning after offence, ten years ago.
That is not the same as getting sloshed and driving in to a bus shelter full of schoolchildren and you’re dumb if you can’t tell the difference.
But the potential was there for driving into a line of kids. All it takes is a second of slow reaction to cause a fatality.
Yer i agree but while checking your tacho or changing stations on the radio we all make mistakes just some you get caught and i did i am pleased i did in a way cause i didn’t realize what the limit was in relation to the amount of variations of how it affects you and different people size shape i did the rehabilitation course that the courts now offer and learnt a lot some i feel the DSA should make you learn as part of the car test.
But i dont believe that no one on here has clipped a curb or gone over the white line and then thought they were distracted and didnt know how they got there.
corporate manslaughter what are you on about seriously. So if you employ a murderer who doesn’t declare it after 5 years because he doesn’t have to under the rehabilitation of offenders act. Are you seriously saying someone is responsible for this if he kills again. JOKE!! as someone says on here ’ better to say nothing and bethought a fool that open your mouth and everyone know you are
Cheggy:
I tell you what… If I had my own company Id give you a job tomorrow… Just to ■■■■ these holier than thou knob jockies off.
cheers mate means a lot starting to regret asking for help
Unfortunately its the mentality of too many on this forum. I put it down to them being dictated to all week so they come on here to try re-instate some sort of masculinity.
Sad really.

You wanna lay off The Sun pal.
Bet you think that Phillpot killed his kids because he was on benefits, that Thatcher never persecuted the working class etc etc.
Take your head out of your arse . . . there was 90,000 drink driving convictions in 2007 . . . how many accidents/fatalities were off the back of that?
I am in no way condoning that it is acceptable to do such a thing but everyone makes mistakes and the OP deserves to earn a crust without being persecuted worse than a ■■■ offender would after five years of his sentence

Quite agree, and that scenario is repeated all over the country every single day during the course of normal driving.
The other behaviour is not demonised, I could drive tired and it wouldn’t be detected. Everyone has a radio, some people eat and drink, some people do things they shouldn’t.
There is an array of skill sets across all drivers and all vehicles and within that, some are at a higher risk of incident than others.
If you’re going to talk about risk and killing a line of kids then please include all the likely times and places in which that is likely to happen, you’ve got thousands to talk about every day.
One guy who was prosecuted years ago for being over the limit the day after probably isn’t one.
i get my licence back this month for a DR10 but got banned by TC for a further 2mths… anyone know if i’ll have the entitlement on my licence when i get it back or will i have to reapply when my extra 2mth ban is up?
Following a number of personal comments and a bunch of complete speculation, I’ve removed several (very) off-topic posts.
For those who can’t follow a topic, the OP has asked for some advice.
For those who wish to dissect the rights and wrongs of people who have a DR10 on their licence, the severity of the punishments or whatever else might be on their minds… my polite request is…
PLEASE start your own topic in the main PDF forum.

No?
You have one line on drinking and driving.
Anyone who disagrees with you is, in your eyes, a prat or worse.
Apparently it’s tantamount to murder for someone to have a beer the night before driving.
You’ve expressed your opinion quite vociferously several times.
When members of the admin team, ie me, then Dave, remove excessively vitriolic posts, we are ‘out of line’.
That looks close enough to being a “Troll” to me.
Do not miss the point that immediately below my name is the word “Moderator”.
I really dont care what it says under your name.i did write some cheeky comments but others also did the same.i think being branded a troll is totally out of order.also a mod is the internet version of a hobby bobby.
nearly there:
Dave your out of order.you allow trolls but not a honest view.
Sorry, but I beg to differ.
You have given honest views, and they’ve been left as you posted (please see for yourself above.)
You have posted increasingly off-topic and tried to hijack the OP’s topic to your own agenda, but it won’t work.
You can start your own post on any reasonable subject you like, PROVIDED it’s in the appropriate forum and within the forum rules, which I’ve already posted a link to in case you hadn’t noticed them when you signed-up to TN.
I have already suggested that you can start your own topic on the rights and wrongs of a person having a DR10 on their licence, or whether you think the current punishments are sufficient etc etc, the appropriate forum for that is here:
If you have comments about the moderation on TN, then you can discuss them here:
If you read the forum rules, I think you might find that it is you who is out of order and I have politely pointed it out to you.
Further off-topic posts by any poster posted on this topic WILL be removed. If it persists, some posters might find that their posting privileges become restricted, so please take this as an opportunity to read the forum rules and as a polite warning and yet more friendly advice.
