DR10 Comes off my licence in oct

Following a number of personal comments and a bunch of complete speculation, I’ve removed several (very) off-topic posts.

For those who can’t follow a topic, the OP has asked for some advice.

For those who wish to dissect the rights and wrongs of people who have a DR10 on their licence, the severity of the punishments or whatever else might be on their minds… my polite request is…

:bulb: PLEASE start your own topic in the main PDF forum.

Go get a hobby

As it happens, I have a hobby, but thanks for your concern.

Please read my advice above to nearly there because it also applies to you and I really CBA to type it twice.

Simon and Dave, this forum would be a whole lot better if you just got rid of the muppets.

There you simon/dave im a muppet now.i dont see this verbal attack on me being deleted.ill leave you bums with your obvious drink problems to yourselfs.

Where does anyone call you a Muppet?

You’re part of the special ‘clique’ now anyway.

FYI, I’m a teetotaller and have been for many years.

Now we’re getting back on topic…

Unfortunately you have 2 things going against you.

  1. A DR10
  2. Your attitude.

The DR10 may come off your licence in October but unless you can change the way you come across, you have very little chance of getting any employment.

I know how hard it is having endorsements on your licence. I had 2 IN10s when I started (14pts). I ended up doing agency work and got myself a foot on the ladder.

Try the local agencies in your area or just sit tight till October.

Best of luck

Whats wrong with this guys attitude? He broke the law 10 years ago by the looks of it you also broke the law twice who are you to judge this guy give him a break ffs

The issue of either of us breaking the law is not being bought into question.

The way the OP came across - the world owed him something - is where I think his attitude lets him down.

And in case you hadn’t noticed, since that post you have quoted, which I posted what seems like a millennium ago, I have given him a break.

I’m not looking at drivergraham’s attitude, although it’s possible that he might like to rethink it in light of some of the posts made.

IMHO, the point that some posters appear to be missing is to do with the main facts of what happened…

deivergraham got a driving ban, which was set by a Court at the end of a due process. End of.

For my 2p worth, I’d guess that drivergraham has learned his lesson, and quite possibly found it difficult to come on here and open up in the way that he has. I respect him for that and hope that he’s successful in gaining his chosen employment.

The question remains the same though, does anybody know of a firm that would give drivergraham a chance?

I’ve moved a couple of off-topic posts to a more appropriate forum for discussion.

They’re here:

Yes I do but he lives in the wrong area.
