My friend Filip from Belgium’s ex bjarne andersens scania (The ■■■ house) from Denmark

I see this guy quite regularly as I dont live that far away from him…I used to like his Black Scania as well…

Some of my alltime favourite fleet, sadly no longer with us.

What happened to Bjarne Anderson’s fleet ■■ Have they closed down ■■

Ulceby and Grimsby.

found this on 'tinterweb, i dont know how old the picture is. It could just be that PBA got offered a good deal on the motor, and decided not to spray it the normal colours, or it could’ve been waiting to be painted, or ■■
(i cant be bothered to look thru all my PBA pictures to see if ive got a match for the registration number.)

I have seen photos before of PBA trucks in plain colours, usually white. I wondered if they might have been subbies.

Cheers

Koge, Denmark, i should’ve taken more pictures, lots of free parking, and lots of smart motors.

This is the Volvo I drove when I worked in DK in '09 (for Shortwalk).

Lucky man, i love the way the Danes spec a motor. My ideal motor would definatly be Danish.

TBH it was a bit ‘bargain basement’ as far as the Danes were concerned but the spec was great. Even the MAUT box and CB were a factory fit.

It was a great place to work but the Local Hauliers just couldn’t compete with the foreign competition. I was lucky I had a good job to come back to in the UK so it didn’t seem fair to stay out while the local lads struggled for work (and our Jacob was born).
I had a very happy time at APL at what was probably my last International job. I miss seeing shockingly smart Danish trucks on the road.

Did you live out there, or just do 6 weeks away with a week off (or similar?). Did you travel far, or just stay in DK? Any more pictures ?!
I was speaking to a bloke (think he was from NZ) Thursday, he had a 124 Scania 470, it had done 1.3million km, he had it from new, and it was what i would call ‘typical’ Danish spec, leather button press, coffee maker, etc, even thou it had done 1.3million, i would gladly swapped it with my 61 plate XL.
