The recovery rate for Covid, taking age, risk groups etc into account is now estimated to be around 98.5%-99%. Which does rather beg the question : apart from the strain on our creaking gate of a health service, why is all the scaremongering going on?

The figures for flu deaths are far more sobering than even the worst predictions for Covid. So why is it worse to die from Covid than influenza? The current state of utter panic just doesn’t make sense…

The uk death rate stands at around 10% of total cases 41,903 and outrunning recoveries ( low 100’s ) by around 20+ to 1.

Admittedly better in other countries.But there’s no actual definition of ‘recovery’ IE anti bodies clear of virus.The recovery figures look like bs trying to hide something.What who knows anything from zero recovery to fake virus.It shouldn’t be difficult to provide an exact definition of recovery.While the fact that the government backed away from the plan of herd immunity and reports of cytokine storm but no actual confirmation of anti body response is possibly a clue as to the immune system’s response to this.

I’m not saying the disease isn’t real - my doubt is of the high profile people “diagnosed” with it… Prince Charles being a better example than the Prime Minister, because of his “danger age group”…

The death rate is 1-2% of people who actually catch it… Not the population in general. So currently 1-2% of 42,000 not 66 million. That’s about 840, not 500,000. Sure, the numbers will keep rising and it’s good that things are being done to take pressure off the NHS. But in 2015 28, 000 died of flu in the UK alone. And these were deaths as a direct result of contracting flu with no underlying issues. 98% of those dying of Covid have underlying issues. The actual number of otherwise healthy people dying of Covid is lower than flu.

The fact is that for those who are healthy you are no more likely to die of Covid than you are flu. Neither is good, but no one panics about flu, simply because you don’t hear about it. So why don’t you? Folk say it’s because there’s a vaccine. Mm. But that doesn’t stop it killing thousands every year. Which is even more scary when you think about it…

The comparison with MH370 referred to the mass hype and cover up, not the fact the two incidents were the same…[emoji16]

I’d still like to know why Covid is considered SO deadly… Given 2/3rds of patients that have died with it would have died anyway… Yet a disease that kills outright hundreds of thousands every single year doesn’t even get a mention…

Covid is not nice. But realistically, nor is any respiratory condition. This current hysteria has been spun for a reason certainly.

But the reasons are not necessarily what they are claimed to be.

Covid 19 and my Sunday morning ramblings *

The back part of my brain (the part that stopped my ancestors from being eaten by sabre toothed tigers) is screaming DANGER DANGER DANGER! It’s not the danger posed by this virus that it’s screaming about because the front part of my brain reasons that since time immemorial my species has faced plagues and viruses of all descriptions, some of which lots have died from but even more have survived.

“They” have always lied to us working class people in order to control us. This process seems to have accelerated rapidly since the first Gulf War and shows no signs of letting up. The reason why my lizard brain is screaming is because it is wondering what the end game is here and it’s terrified at not only how quickly we have surrendered ourselves to the current regime but also how quickly we’ve turned into a society that the old East German Stasi would be proud of! We are now suddenly a nation of curtain twitchers who tut and scowl at people who we deem to be “not playing the game” to the extent that we are prepared to report neighbours to the authorities for the most trivial things. I have no doubt that Covid is dangerous but I believe that far far more people will eventually die as a result of the systematic destruction of our economy in generations to come!

I reckon if I walked outside today and was killed by a meteorite falling the announcement in the press would be that I died of Covid.

The Daily Express would say it was an unfortunate friendly fire incident, as the meteorite was meant for Diana.
The Sun wouldnt report it, unless they got a piccie of your widow putting out the bins wearing a negligee. The Telegraph would complain that valuable tax-payers money was being used to investigate the cause.
The Mail… would say it was a communist missile disguised as a meteorite.
The Mirror…ditto…American…ditto…
C.F. would of course be the holder of the TRUE facts, but we would need a translator to untangle them, and Winseer would say it is all fine, as he can now get a ZHC, good hourly rate, agency position at your place!
