Im getting a bit fed up with my current job. Ive been doing it for about 9 months now and although the boss is sound as a pound im starting to do mega hours and do alot of nights out. When I took the job I explained that I need to get home on the evenings and the boss agreed to limit me to 1 a week or so (hopefully less). Recently though ive been doing 2 or 3 nights out a week and while the rule used to be “early start early finish” it now seems to be “early start, late finish” The trend seems to be going towards a full week out and monster hours, not the type of work I want to do. On top of that when im not on a night out my unit is now being used for night work by another driver with all my night out kit in, comes back with no diesel and stinking of ■■■■!
Soooo, does anybody know of any steady long term jobs in Stoke, day/night trunking, no nights out? Ill consider anything and im not afraid of a bit of graft.
