Whats the going rate for class 2 drivers

As with Class one it can vary a lot even in one area.
You might want to have a dekko on Fish4 to get the idea 
I Pay £6.50 ph for Rigid + £17.50 Night Out + Parking, need a driver for 2 weeks if your interested 
til Matt gets back off his Holidays.
I think average around this area is £5.00 - £5.50 ph for Artics and £17.50 night out money
Is your class 2 class C or the old hgv2, if its the old 2 then consider wag and drag work some companys pay more for that than artics
The reason i ask is that my earlier thread was about a a job offer.
I will be on £370 for a mon-fri,8-6,multidrop round bradford, leeds.
Get drops of in morning then do collections in afternoon,this includes £15 meal allowance and £20 bonus for timekeeping,accident free and and ya tachos etc in on time.
Do you think the money is reasonable for this work.

how many hours is the 370 for.
Around Leeds Bradford going rate for class 2 is from £6.50 - £8.50
My last place of work was the same!!! for the rigid drivers it was pallets on multi-drop then collections!
its hard work but once you have sorted your round out it gets OK
as for the pay!! here in the Boro the lads were getting a flat rate £420 on top no bonus. they were happy…well as happy as truckers get!

its worth a try, if you dont like it move on!!
I think it is 49 hours.
I think i will take it for now as i fallen out with my current employers.
But i really want some distance work, nights out etc
