Does anyone have an idea of average pay for a class 2 driver in Leeds area? I’m booked in to do my class 1 next month which I know is better money than I earn at the min but trying to get a class 2 job for some driving experience.
average £8 ph 
Thats about average for class 1 around there too is’nt it?.
I’m in Leeds and get £8 flat, no OT at all. Std 40 hrs pw. Very rare get near this so swings and roundabouts I guess but it’s the experience count I’m after!
A few firms pay a little more round us but they expect a ■■■■ sight more and by time you work it all out the rate is below 8. Not many actually have OT rates seems to be the ‘in thing’ to have flat rate round here
Ok cheers, class1 looks good money I’m near Sherburn so got good access to Sherburn normanton Castleford and leeds so quess I’ll just wait till I pass class 1 and go straight for a class 1 job.
