Is she one of the ‘pink ladies’?
when it went to court it was squashed, due to no evidence… as it was in cider
I love this place. So many serious and challenging topics to discuss, yet we choose to regress back to childhood and laugh about ‘apple jokes’.
I wonder how many others want a slice of the action.
you have to admit they make better reading that some pish about copping a phone penalty…though they nearly did her for speeding also, but the lady in question a mrs smith, said she was only eating it as she skipped lunch to hurry home to care for her granny…?
I pithy the fool
Whats that got to do with the price of apples■■?
Did she peel against the conviction though? We need all the juicy details.
What have I done…
yes…she a peeled, the conviction and had to take it up the apples and pears to the high court…
She intended denying it, but in court she crumbled.

Three years ago in Aberdeenshire. Coach driver gets a call from the office. The driver answers and get caught by a policeman.
Driver was called to ms Aitkins office in Edinburgh. His licence was suspended for 8 weeks. The company also came in for criticism from the TC for phoning the driver when they kwew he would be driving.
all our company cars have Bluetooth but we are all told not to answer until stopped ( bit like BOC).
She asked her solicitor what the fine was likely to be. " I can’t just remember off the top of my head " replied Mr. Tell.
Sorry lads, you’ve done all the best ones !!

Bought yourself a £10 bluetooth headset yet?I still cant understand why people risk the points and fine when the headsets are so cheap.
I’ve had too stop using one due too ear issues ,wasn’t sure if it was headset but after a month apx of not using it I’m not getting the symptoms I got before ,I understand where your coming from ,but long term I wonder if they do cause hearing issues ,they certainly did with me .
I’m not gonna flame the op as I’m as guilty of anybody for using the phone whilst driving (at least my new motor comes with bluetooth which is a Godsend), and we all see countless people driving with phones stuck to their ears day in day out. I will say to anyone who does this “for Chrissakes stick it to your left ear ffs”, it’s not gonna make it legal but it’s gonna save you some serious wedge.
Anyway, gotta go now, kettles boiling for my pot noodle and the absolute idiot in front of me won’t get out of lane three!
Can we do some more apple jokes?
I am sure it will bear fruit…

I must admit I had a similar issue but what I found worked was taking it out and using it when the phone actually rang?
