Evening guys/gals,

Sorry I have been incommunicado for the past few weeks.

I should have done my C+E test last Thursday but I had a phone call the day before saying the gear box had gone in the lorry, so it had been cancelled! :frowning:

However, it got re-booked for today, and…

Yes, I PASSED!!

BTW crazyhorse260 Yes, I had Caz as my instructor.

Congratulations. Well Done.

Bet that’s a weight off your mind. It’s certainly been a rollercoaster ride.

Good luck finding CE work

Just await the fireworks.

Dean

Well Done Mate

But a T reg ERF as a training vehicle :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: You don’t make it easy.

Thanks mate! Yeah, it is indeed a very big weight off my mind. I always felt quite confident, but the thing is with tests, as you know, it only takes a second to do something that causes you to fail. Then after you fail a couple of times, you then start to worry as the money dries up with every one you fail and that makes you more nervous and under more pressure!

Well Done Mate

Hehe. Yeah, true!

Actually, it was quite a decent motor really. I certainly felt confident handling it around the roads and reversing it etc. :sunglasses:

Congratulations. Feels good doesn’t it?

How are you getting on? Have you obtained any work with your new C+E category yet? BTW, how long did you have to wait before you received your new licence from DVLA?

Ah, Highbridge eh? My Dad was living in Highbridge in the 60’s while he was in the Royal Navy based at Portishead. That was the reason his parents bought the caravan at BOS. It was great them having that caravan there as it meant lots of holidays there as a kid!

As for Bridgwater, well it has certainly changed a fair bit since I lived there, with the new river crossing over to Chilton Trinity and that new industrial estate on the edge of town towards BOS.
