No, we all fell asleep reading Carryfasts drivel !

Anyway speaking of “the great man” where has he got to? I hope you all haven’t sickened him off completely or maybe Matron has put the block on his computer for a while to prevent him going right over the edge, you rotten buggers !!! Cheers Bewick

No he is still standing his ground on other sections of this forum Dennis, probably glad that you have returned as he was needing reinforcements at one stage but managed to make ‘everyone’ see sense in the end! Did you spy any Detroit engined KM’s in Spain?

Pete.

Never saw one Pete !!! Dennis.

By sheer coincidence Carryfast and Bewick stopped posting at the same time…or may it not be a coincidence!!!

David

Now come on Trev, you of all people could have kept the site alight by claiming to have located an 8LXB Big J round the back of a Chines Chippy in Wolverhampton !!! that would have kept 'em all bouncing until I returned and put them all out of their misery !!! Along the lines of " you don’t believe all the ■■■■■■■■ that yon man from Penkridge spouts do you" !!! Cheers Dennis.

Some say that if you look closely enough you’ll find a story about a 240 Gardner powered Big J on the Ancient Brits Heading East thread.By all accounts it set off over 35 years ago and it still hasn’t arrived yet and no one knows where it is and the driver can’t call in to tell us how far he’s got because he hasn’t got a mobile phone and he couldn’t understand why no one could understand what he meant when he asked to use the telex machine. :smiling_imp:

Cheers Dave.

hiya,
Dennis and Carryfast one ■■, but have any of you noticed that I have never made
a derogatory remark about either of them, just in case if times get any harder I
might have to drag the old Class1 out of the drawer and at my time of life one
never knows when one might need a friend and I’ve heard so much spouted about
the Detroit Diesel I may need to seek advice from Carryfast should I be given the
pride of the fleet powered by the aforesaid engine having never previously been
lumbered with one, “and so say all of us”

Don’t fret yourself “H”,if you had to get back behind the wheel of an 8 legger we’d sort you out something better than one with a DD engine!! and I would volenteer to be the mate ! I still have a couple of boiler suits and some boots!! Just been given a bottle of Glenlivet, haven’t opened it,never tried it, so what is it like, better than Glenffidich ■■ Cheers Dennis.

Nothing deceptive or devious about knowing the chaps first name.Just asked him on a thread what his first name was,as most people use first name terms on here. I thought rather than continually slag the bloke off ask him.You and other people might not agree with everything he says including myself, but no one on Trucknet has taken the abuse that Carryfast has taken. Also he doesn’t get the hump.I don’t agree with a lot of his opinions or views but he probably feels the same about some of mine.No idea where he lives Dennis, thought he lived near you !
Cheers Dave.

Well it could have been worse Dave he could have said his name was Denis ! spelt with one N you notice !!! Then the D could always be exchanged for a “P” !! Cheers Dennis.

Dennis You will defo enjoy the Glenlivet, I have had a few bottles of it & In my opinion It is very nice, But of course like I have said before there are no bad malts , Its just some are better than others, Ive just opened a Glen Grant Majors Reserve Ive had it before & its on special offer at Morrisons for £16 quid odd a gift at that price, & very nice to drink, Anyway its nice to see you back on channel good buddy, Regards Larry.

I will leave you to carry on with your keyboard war with Geoff aka Carryfast Dennis.I wiil sit on the side…Not into playground games.

hiya,
Dennis I think you know just as well as I do you would have the game on telling
the difference between either of the “Glens” they both taste bloody lovely as does
any of the single malts, but that’s just my opinion, although my missus describes
me like a “sink” who will pour anything down, so as a taster read ■■■■ artist, but
I am always available day or night to sample anything and give my verdict for
marketing purposes you understand, eagerly awaiting my first consignment.
thanks harry long retired.

This carryfast geaser whoever he is, come on show yourself, come clean & reveal who you realley are, I mean what have you got to hide ? or are you a ESL supporter who hides . Regards Larry.

Your appraisal of Glenlivet is good enough for me then, so when I crack it open for a taste I’ll utter the words “cheers “H” and Larry” hic! hic! Dennis.
