IMO this has got to be the most pointless thread on the site,even worse than the “fast eddie” ones ( and thats saying something !!) A bloke can’t have a month off without a “book of condolence” being opened and all kinds of conjecture being offered as to why said member has the affrontry to vacate the site without first asking permission,in writing,from various “sages” who inhabit the TN site !The mods should consign this garbage thread to the skip !! Spot on Dennis, with you all the way, if my budget allowed me to holiday whenever I
wanted to this computer thingy would be the last thing I bothered with, I would be
constantly looking for destinations anew instead of spending my time spouting my
drivel on here but secretly I am a bit addicted ( the wifes words) so instead of being
pampered on holiday I spend my spare time, and loads of it, playing about on here.

Bit of a cruel shot here of my Merc 300E,when only a week or two old in '94,stood outside my office at the depot.I’d just come back into the depot after been up on Bowes moor rescueing one of our FL10’s that had been abandoned the day before.From memory when we got to it it was like the Fox in a Glacier mint,the Blower had been up either side of it !! Took me and our fleet engineer a couple of hours hard collar with shovels to dig it out,but we suceeded and as we had cracked it up before we started it was nicely warmed up when we drove it out.Then when we got back to Milnthorpe the snow had followed us down so this was the state my car was in !!
