Been there in a artic, backed it in and and round off the road no bother
He’s a new driver though Damoq. Ink still wet on his wagon licence so he’ll be going slow like that til he gets used to his little 17 tonner. As you say, no need to even slow down to a crawl like he does if you’re familiar with the place and you can whip an artic round there no problem if you know what you’re doing. Not sure what the camera is all about though - does he had one of those bicycle helmet cams mounted to his head? Must look like a right tool wearing that .
Nice superiority complex you got there… Please excuse me for not wanting to scratch and scrape my truck round that place… And it’s a 26 tonner and it only just fits. We had another one that was 30 centre longer and it would not fit.
a.b.n feed mill at egmere got there last night a 5 pm to late to tip mill boss said park on site wash room and canteen open till ten pm at severn one of the mill lads comes out and takes me to the chipy with him his turn for the chipy run happy days

KOLAK Park Royal, was bad enough before, but now they’ve been messing. Wish they’d just get new premises and start again.
I went in there on my first week out, what a hole!
Somehow managed to get in the entrance with the weighbridge, parked cars all over the place then wondered how I was going to get on a bay with all the crap, pallets and trailers dumped around the yard. No idea how I managed it, somehow never smashed anything.
Safe to say I was making buttons, cold sweats, the works. This was all at 0230 too! Probably the worst place I’ve taken an artic to.
Some of you lot sound spoilt. Moaning about some RDC that’ll at least be warm and complete with toilet facilities. Try loading out of Atlantic Steel in Birkenhead where when you ask to use the toilets they say no drivers are allowed to use them. Your not even allowed up the stairs to collect your notes and threy have laminated a4 notices on the doors and stairwell informing you of this lol.

I prefer going to the factory than the outside store on Standard Road. Although taking a 30 pallet trailer into the Standard Road site wasnt my idea of fun.

I knew I’ve heard that name before. I delivered some pallets of wine to the drinks place next door. Amamthus I believe.
Booked in at 15:30 but turned up at the gates around 14:00 the lady on the gates gave me a rough time about being early, but the yard was dead, as in the old western tumbler going across the screen dead, only had 3 palettes, on and off the bay in less the 10 minutes. Not allowed to waiting cab, so I guess that is a sign they don’t ■■■■ about, coffee machine and ■■■■■■■■ No Smoking site QQ
Not like that ■■■■■■■ argos place in Derby, 4 hours for 4 palettes, thats another story for another time!
westfeild shopping center london get sent in regular with artic with max 2 pall. bays only fit for four wheelers jack knife reverse with high kerb on blindside and security staff are soon hassling you to hurry up (ill take all the time i need mate) just got told recently by staff im delivering too that they stipulate delivery on 4 wheeler but as usual nothing changes

in fact most bigger rdc,s where the minimum wage mouth breathers are employed
usually smaller places are better tips as they tend to be shorter management chains and they are happier to see you as the want/need the delivery as soon as .

Mercadona supermarket Malaga, you have to reverse in blindside (no other option) between two stupidly placed iron posts, screw the trailer round to the left ,fully freighted taking a large chunk of whats left of the tarmac with the trailer tyres before straightening up for a loading bay with 6 inches each side…nice…
