And today’s award goes to Ocado Hatfield. An hour to be given a bay. Despite being there 5 minutes early. 2 hours 35 to tip 24 identical pallets.

And why put the waiting bays just beyond the tipping bays?

I’m perfectly happy to take a bollocking from those 2 “yard marshals” who seem to do nothing but sit on their arses and when things get a little bit busy decide to stop every driver, just to make it a bit more congested.

And then put the pallet area right in front of the goods in bays.

I know I’m no genius, but why not put the pallet area in the bit where you currently hold the goods in motors, and then they wouldn’t have to do a full lap of the place (which I didn’t, hence the bollocking) just to get on a bay.

Almost as crap as Dordon.

Was in Cold Move (Morans) Oswestry yesterday morn,
tipped full load in 10mins,
goods-in Clerk kept calling me “sir”!!![emoji41]
Then loaded Cullina Stafford after break last night and straight on bay and one of the few places you get to sit in cab WITH keys!!!

Brakes Newhouse been in 3Fri’s in a row to load 3hrs early each time straight on bay 20mins full load and away.
Nice clean drivers waiting room with wide screen TV and coffee machine if bit on small side. [emoji52]

Staff pleasant in all three.[emoji6]

I totally agree with all the above but they do have a lovely canteen and you are allowed to sit in your cab so could be worse but now I’ve changed jobs it’s one place I don’t miss.

Funny old world innit…

I deliver to both Dordon and Hatfield with chilled and they are the quickest and most reliable drops I have. Allocated a bay on the gate, hand in my keys, sit in my cab…thumpety bumpety bump… green light.

Hatfield is badly set out. Everything is in the wrong place and I’ve seen many lorries go around just to be in the right place to back onto a bay, it is daft.

P+H Dunfermiline chilled is the worst one I’ve ever done guaranteed 2hrs + for just a few pallets everytime.

I’ve never been any longer than 30 mins in there. Takes most drivers longer to get on the loading bays than it does to get unloaded. [emoji23]

Just been to the dump that is Norbert Dentressangle at Daventry. Got there at 16:30 for a 17:00 tip, got on a bay after 2 hour 20 mins and only just pulled out :unamused: only had half a trailer 14 pallets.
Best thing about it is how the lass finds it funny about it and says, " you should be here at xmas we have people here all day and 8 hours is the norm :laughing: " oh how I laughed my ■■■■■■■■ off :confused: No thanks split arse I don’t want to visit the ■■■■■■■ dump ever again! :imp:
