I have tried a number but the only one I use now is Teleroute <www.teleroute.co.uk>, I have an account with them but I think you can still buy a pay-as-you-go version.
I have found some very good work through Teleroute and they have a large company behind them that do the checking, so you’re not dealing with one man and his dog!
Although I would say none of the ones I have tried actually credit check participants, but for the odd load it’s not worth the aggro to check EU companies. Having said that I have never had to chase payment from EU companies- unlike most of the UK companies I deal with.
