Does anybody know the time limit is for obtaining the axle weight certificate for a new truck ?
my transport manager says its 28 days but from when!..I wouldn’t believe him if he said its day time never mind anything else
just don’t fancy being pulled and being in the brown stuff
Is it the driver who gets done if one is not present ?
If you mean plating certificate, Some of the brand new stuff I’ve had, it appeared after 1st test, the vehicle I have now doesn’t have one, nowt to worry about as a driver.
And it can be the same for trailers, but may depend on who is operating them.
it took over 6 months for mine to come through, dvsa are so far behind its untrue, but don’t worry about it, you wont get done.
It can quite often be after 1st test unless requested.
