i use mine when I’am a ‘stranger’ going to another quarry out of my area or on logger routes ect where others use the cb ,I wouldn’t be with out it even though I don’t run with anyone .

Trucktable, CB ? yeh, I’ll admit,.I’ve had both those in the past, and tbh the odd bit of trucker crap in my time at different times,… but I can do all those things you list,.as can many others I’ve met.

I HAVE also actually got a trucktable for a MAN up there as it turns out.
I’m looking for a table for a V4 Volvo but cant find anything I like - I want one that sits nice and neat on top of the fuse box but doesn’t stick up above the front of the dash but cant find anything suitable . I may have to head to the shed and make my own unless anyone can point me in the right direction .
I used to use it for directions I remember this woman in Milton Keynes, she called herself Ruby Tuesday,she gave me directions to Tesco’s,was it funny lock…,its not the best use of time though,I thi k,talking on that thing ,unless you’re a trucker,but each to their own,I guess

You need a CB to be warned about ‘seat covers’ passing you. 
I remember the Chicken Box days, When it was illegal to have & use the C Bs. In the late 70s, Most drivers used them & when they became legal & you had to have a licence was when the Wendy House lot had to display two big red firestick anttenas
