This would be a late 2008 reg or '58 plate early 2009 model Actros mp2. The gearbox im talking about has no clutch pedal and is known as Powershift 1. 12 or 16 speed. Affected trucks would be at there worst sounding a warning then saying “clutch failure” or similar and the dash display will go red. Some didnt have any problem at all but should of been issued with a recall from Merc.

Customer I’m currently working for on the agency, had 2 go down in 2 successive days, (58 plate.) and both were repaired at Mercedes.
I bet Lewis and Jenson don’t have this problem though.

We get this quite often, turn it off go and have a ■■■ resets itself happens a lot after loading and moving when air is down.On my old firm we had 2, 57 and an 08 both had new clutches in 2009.
