Robroy.
Yes,God gave us rules, but the rules are for everyones benefit,so I dont find them restrictive.
Imagine just living one day with no rules,on the roads if you like,it would soon be complete chaos
Absolute b/s, and like comparing apples to oranges.
Rules on a road have legitamite purpose.
Rules in religion are self imposed, and there to keep you in check…ie restrictions.
Break the rules on the road, and the risk is great and REAL, and things happen to you, even death.
Break made up religious rules, and absolutely NOTHING happens in REALITY, it is just all part of the whole fantasy.
.
Thou shalt not steal.
What happens if someone steals your wallet?
You catch them?
Is there consequences?
Or do you just pat them on the back, never mind,at least I got my wallet back
Somebody steals my wallet?
Assuming I catch them, give him a ■■■■ good kicking .
Adultery?
I know my wife, it would never happen, but as an hypothesis?
See my previous answer as to what I would do to the guy.
As for my wife, more than likely come to terms with it…eventually.
Bear ‘false witness’.?
Never gave af what people say about me, but if it came to confrontation it would depend on what he had said.
And there is one of the MANY differences between you and me mate.
I do things my own way by my own personal code, rather than involve any authoritative body (when possible) , and certainly not by the ‘rules’ of any fairy tale Imaginary being.
Hope that answers your points.
(And finally shuts you up )
Ok,but in future can you please not talk about all these restrictions unless you can tell me what they actually are…
As a fundamentalist,we only have the ten commandements
But,ok,the false religions do have a lot of restrictions but thats not us

Ok sure…
The fact that in your case you and your ilk can’t even visit the khazi (metaphorically speaking) without consulting the Bible, epitomises a restrictive way of life in anybody’s opinion (who is not a religious nut )
The false religions ,too many to list, any religion that doesnt follow ,or adds to the Word of God.
And here is the Bible verse that qudlifies what I said
Galatians 1:6-9
6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you in the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— 7 not that there is another one, but there are some who trouble you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be accursed.
A ‘superhuman’ is not a genuine entity, but figment of the imagination.
Therefore as I said, ALL religion is false in that context.
It’s like when you take your kid to see Santa (ok I know YOU dont. ) and he asks you if he is the ‘Real’ Santa.
That just about sums it up.
And btw that Bible quote essentially ‘qualifies’ absolutely nothing.
It’s a bit like me telling you that Newcastle Utd is the best team in the world, because it says so in the NUFC supporters club book.
Like you told me earlier…quote ‘‘Let’s not get carried away’’.
Sploom:
Science hasnt proved, even evolution exists nor the big bang theory or human conscience, lets not get too carried away…
I’m pretty sure I’ve explained The Scientific Method to you in detail previously: Science does not claim to “prove” anything, it simply demonstrates (i) what cannot be true, or (ii) what is highly likely to be untrue. What remains is then accepted as true, until/unless more evidence comes along, at which point the issue is re-evaluated.
You cannot rationally approach Science the same way you approach your irrational Big Book of Fairy Tales, which is why religionists of all types struggle to comprehend Science.

The human brain is made of atoms ultimatley ,right?
And you expect me to believe a bunch of chemicals mixed with water can have emotions and awareness of itself?
No way.I’m no scientist but isnt everything made from the elements of the periidic table?

An irrational response; I rest my case.
I was trying to clarify your clearly demonstrated lack of understanding regarding “science” and “proof”. I was not trying to correct your implausible belief in your Imaginary Friend In The Sky.
I know from past experience you get your “information” from “Elders” in your “church”, so I’m assuming that kind of knee-jerk BS comes courtesy of them. If I thought you genuinely wanted to scientifically understand the marvel that is life on earth, I would happily give time to the matter, but I know you do not.
If you could shake off your primitive beliefs long enough to understand the myriad complex biological processes (a finely balanced and exquisitely co-ordinated biochemical dance if you will) at work in an action so simple as extending your arm and moving your fingers to type on a keyboard, it would likely blow your mind. It’s far more miraculous than any Fairy Story in your BBOFT.
The elders would give a similar response,Im sure ,if I asked them.I dont have hardly any scientific knowledge, but I know enough to figure out, science cant explain the human brain. It cant begin to explain the ability we have to experience emotions and self awareness.I can understand the mental abilities maybe, after all ,a computer can play chess well, but it can never experience emotions, indeed, you would ridicule anyone who suggested a computer would ever do that
Having been part of Sploom’s World until I escaped at age 16.
I would suggest we be kind to him, CF & Winseer who subscribe to similar fantasies.
Mental illness is one of the most damaging human conditions, and religion even more so when it comes to the Evangelistacl terrorist regimes.
Ideally, Sploom’s employers would give him counselling and keep him off the roads, but in these days of any bum on a seat will do - even if they display severe mental disorders - he will be allowed on the roads and let his imaginary god make decisions for him.
Religious mania is in my mind worse than Covid because it not only affects the individual but their family, especially their children.
There are many sources of help, this is just one of thousands:-

science cant explain the human brain within limits it can. It doesn`t explain it all, but can explain a lot.
cant begin to explain the ability we have to experience emotions and self awareness As above.
but it can never experience emotions, indeed, you would ridicule anyone who suggested a computer would ever do that[
I recommend to you “Do Andriods Dream Of Electric Sheep” a work of fiction filmed as BladeRunner.
If you want answers to insoluble problems ask a priest. Look to religion.
If you want the best available info look to the scientific method.
After all, gravity is merely a scientific theory, but it keeps my feet on the ground!

You don’t know enough to know what it is you don’t know! Neurobiology is a massive field of knowledge; we know quite a bit already and that knowledge is constantly being added to.
It’s probably a wise idea for you to stop knocking science, stick to the Fairy Stories
