A religion question for Robroy, but will he give me a straigh

Sploom:
I already answered your question.I dont know why you have to be rude.

You didn’t answer it you evaded it.
As I said you come out with all this crap, quoting the Bible etc, and when you are challenged on an awkward question pertaining to the passage that YOU quoted, you start babbling.

So again…Do you love Jesus more than your family.,.
The passage you quoted said that if you do.you were not worthy…paraphrasing btw as I cba to read it again.
You obviously do not want to admit either way.

So answer the very clear question, there are only two possible answers…it ain’t difficult.
Put up or shut up. :bulb:

How can you say Christ’s words are not Christian?
The statement contradicts itself.
Jesus Christ was the founder of Christianity so being a Christian means following His word.It doesnt mean making it up as you go along.

Of course I appreciate everuthing I have or if someone helps me ,I appreciate that too!

Jesus, be he the lord, a profit or fast talking illegitimate son of Mary and Joseph, was a Jew, not the founder of Christianity. He’d been dead for fifty years before Christianity began.
Christianity was based on the hearsay teachings of the aforementioned Jesus.
Can you offer any proof as to the accuracy of the bible, in view of the fact that nothing was recorded in writing until a century after Jesus’ death?
Since the written recording of previously oral history, passed down through multiple generations, it has been translated (mis)interpreted and barstewardised numerous times.
Nobody can truthfully guarantee the accuracy of any bible.

So how do you explain your worship being based on falsehoods?

Ironically the biggest falsehoods are those being put by you that Jesus was supposedly biologically related to Joseph married or unmarried to Mary.
Or that Christianity is based on hearsay as opposed to first hand witness accounts.
Or that the Bible was ever meant to be interpreted in a literal sense word for word with the exception of the Virgin birth and the resurrection of Jesus including the mortal remains.
All in keeping with the idea that Jesus was actually God in mortal form.
Not the so called Son of Joseph.

It is considered a “Work of the Devil” to quote scripture at believers to try and contradict them, just as it is to quote lies, propaganda, and half-truths to non-believers to switch them…

It is amazing how when the non-believer commits utter evil - that the Devil gets invoked by evil-doers and other evil-doer observers, despite the fact that none of these people believe in the Devil… FIgure THAT!

These days “Work of the Devil” gets shorted to just “Woke” for the benefit of those who don’t believe in the existance of the fallen angel previously known as Lucifer Morningstar.

Belief - cuts both ways. You cannot have Good and Evil as a concept without belief, just the unavenged consequences of one’s actions indefinitely, which makes the Evil non-believer - able to rise to heights of political power very easily, with the true upper hand on “Whatabout” politik.

Keep an eye on what the Devout Christians in Parliament get upto over the coming year for forthcoming examples of that:bulb:

Christ often refered to the Devil as being rather on the cunning side.
The forthcoming AntiChrist will have that same power, as befits the expectations of the “Son of Satan” as well.
It is impossible to prove a falsehood without a measure of apparently contradictory truth. It is very easy to “Disprove a Truth” apparently entirely through deliberate falsehood however.
The best thing to watch - is where the money goes.
The Establishment’s money, that is…
The last few days have seen both Bitcoin and the Russian Ruble rally strongly on the financial markets… This doesn’t fit the narrative we’ve been told anywhere if you think about it…
Meanwhile, the Western bond markets have resumed their slow-motion crash, which puts further upward pressure on interest rates, and weakens the future economy of the entire western hemisphere.
Think what you are voting for next year, rather than what perceived falsehood you think you are voting against.
Good people are being tricked in real-time into “Losing their former faith”, whilst Evil people are being rallied to support their evil rise in political power everywhere - based on “Emboldenment” - nothing more. If you keep lying, and prospering - more people will be won over to your cause.
If the world’s evil mainstream media can get freely away with telling everyone “Anti Semitism is now socially acceptable” - then what follows will be similar to what followed the German election of 1933.

You only get positive change by voting against an incumbent Evil - NOT voting for a perceived opposition TO it.

Robroy.
Its not an awkward question at all.Of course I love Jesus more than anything else. You cant put anyone else as more important otherwise I would not be a Christian,as the scripture says.
I know why you keep asking. It is a crude attempt to try and show me as a bad person. But why do you want to do that?

The Spanish inquisition was carried out by catholics. What does it have to do with us?

So you don’t like being burnt alive…I can’t fault you for that. But just out of intrest, you get to judgement day and realise this was all real after all.You havent lived your life for God.
How do expect to be treated?
Do you think you should still be welcomed through the pearly gates?

The original inquisition - was perverted into an instrument of Satan.
The Templars were their enemy - never their “Ally” as portrayed in modern times by attempts to re-write history.

I see the Inquisition as the “Catholic Church infiltrated and corrupted by the Far Left”,
whilst the outgoing Templars were the defeated “Right Wingers” of the day, having failed to get anywhere militarily against Saladin, who’d taken the Islamic world to the Right, and perhaps what could be called a “Golden Age” for the Islamic World…

You just can’t bring yourself to actually say it can you?
You use the term ‘anything else’ as a euphamism for ‘my children’.
If you are that much of a devout and utterly Christian you should not be ashamed to admit it.
But you are…AND SO YOU SHOULD BE !!. :bulb:

Your true colours and that of your sect are coming out mate.
How as a family man you can put your loved ones second to ANYTHING,.I will never know. :unamused:
The fact that you think so little of them to put a fantasy first,. just because it is written down in some book is an utter disgrace.
Shame on you.

Apparently, saying this is racist :frowning: :unamused: …Anyway back on topic…I once asked myself, which first civilization penned the accounts of the Creation Period and the answer came up with the Sumerians, way way before the Old and New Testaments were written. The Bible have similar accounts of the Sumerian writings have similar accounts. To sum up,all three Abrahamic faiths are being misguided

This is nothing new,as you know,I’m sure the Pharasees spent time trying to catch Jesus out.Little wonder ,if you are one Jesus’ followers, people try to catch you out and you can see the proof of that ,even played out on this forum,of all places.

I love my wife and family more than anything else in this world but I love Jesus Christ MOREi dont know how else you want me to word it.
But here’s a thing that does make me a little uncomfortable.
There is no marriage in Heaven!
We just have to trust God on this,we can’t make judgements on it from our position.

MATTHEW 22:30
KJ21
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in Heaven.

How much is worship worth? That question is at the heart of a quiet (and, for many, uncomfortable) issue: pastor compensation. It would be a very different world if people were paid based on their value of their profession to society. Most clergy in America earn a humble $45,000 or less per year as they work tirelessly to share the gospel. While most seminarians don’t pursue a career in preaching expecting to get rich—some spiritual leaders have built lucrative empires comparable to the dynasties previously only enjoyed by star athletes, A-list actors, and corporate elites. Who are these pastors and what are their net worths?

Sploom may have more ambition than we gave him credit for.

It’s hard to imagine not being married to one’s spouse in the next life but we aren’t required to dwell on it,rather just God with these sort of things.
If marriage continued into the next life, what about a young widow who married? Who would she be married to?
Romans 8:28

28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose

So,however uncomfortable it feels,I trust in God that everything will be alright and I try not to overthink this subject

I could never be a pastor because I don’t have the gift of public speaking.I always feel awkward even when I have to speak in the church,so I stick to playing the keyboard in the worship team and that’s something I can do well.

Look at this church.

Nobody is trying to ‘‘catch you out’’ on here, for that you would need to show some degree of ambiguity…you do not, you are quite obviously a religious nut job.
What we are trying to do, or at least I am, is to show you up as following a corrupt and dangerous branch of a religion, your last statement of putting it before your closest love ones clarifies that quite clearly to any right thinking normal person.
So get off your high horse ffs. :unamused: you are never going to win this argument coming out with a pathetic and shameful statement like that one. :unamused:

It has to be said that to be an evangelist these days - you need the brains of a “Debator” like Luthor to fight-off all such inevitable arguments that’ll get thrown at you for trying to “Preach” otherwise.

I don’t think I’ve got the brains to be a debator though - and I’m no thicko!

The difference between “Belief” and “Know” for most people - is what you accept as facts without all the evidence to prove it.
If you believe NOTHING is fact, as NOTHING can be proven EVER - then you really are a top-notch Atheist who believes in nothing at all, including facts.

Oh ffs I’ve got the forum loon quoting Bible passages at me now. :unamused:
(Is that one ‘FACT’ or 2 btw .■■)
