You know he isn’t going to stop, he can’t, (EDIT: he has continued to do so even while I’m typing this post), his compulsive delusion won’t let him.

You personally Rob have been specifically targetted as a “problem case” with “the elders” (ie Scammers-in-Chief), for Sploom’s failure to convert you (there must be some kind of points system at work), to the point where Sploomy is looking for “Divine Intervention” to convert you, if their God was real he’d be on your case big style.

You can’t make an irrational person rational by the use of rational argument. A 21st Century person who genuinely believes in the reality of biblical mythology is a lost cause.

What I find worst is that, not content to dwell in his own delusionary world, Sploom has the unbridled arrogance to believe that anyone who has an alternative approach to life is automatically wrong and needs to be “saved” by conversion to his particular brand of biblical insanity.

In that respect, the comparison to 1930’s ■■■■ Germany is painfully relevant; I seen no difference between Sploom continually posting his biblical verses (and continuing to do so despite being told none of us are interested), and Joseph Goebbels ■■■■ propaganda, apart from the fact that JG left university with a Doctorate, while Sploom freely admits he has nothing to show paperwise for his time in secondary school.

I have some sympathy with Sploom as I suffered with the same affliction – albeit at a younger age when my free will was limited.

About once every 3 months an American ‘Evangelist’ would visit my Parent’s Baptist Church, they all followed the same formula which was to fire up the audience into an emotional/ecstatic state and then finish off with a period of repetitive calls for people to come to the front and be saved.

It is a highly effective technique and many were sucked into it, I think for the majority the Euphoria wore off and they went back to their normal lives, but some – probably like Sploom - kept coming back for more and another hit, just like junkies.

When I was about 11 I was taken to a Stadium show with the once world Famous evangelist Billy Graham with Roy Rogers and his TV & film horse ‘Trigger’. That ended in a ‘Mass Conversion’ with hundreds going forward to be saved.

When you look at it in the cold hard light of day it is nothing but Show Business, but cold and calculating looking to capture as many as possible.
It destroys families and breaks relationships with children, and for those children unable to break away they are sadly handicapped for life.

For those that have never been ‘Saved’ the nearest parallel is MDMA or Ecstasy, it’s just not nearly as good but dangerously habit forming.

Probably the most important event in my life was breaking free from it and being able to think freely and live my life according to much more humane and moral standards.

This is why I would never do that mensa iq test,because,if I did,you would be using itagainst me if my score wasnt high enough.It would be used as a stick to beat ne with,so I would have the foresight not to do the test.There are no entrance exams fir Heaven.Just trusting in Jesus is enough.

Scripture doesnt allow much leeway for getting into Heaven.Jesus describes it as a narrow path.So,Im duty bound to stick with that.Im not going to decieve people into using another route.You cant get to Heaven by doing good works for example.
If we were discussing something else,I am open to listening to others points of view and then changing my mind based on the new evidence.If Im debating something else,I dont dig my heels in to one point of view.

Judea was under Roman occupation, the Romans compulsively wrote important events down, yet no Roman documentation of JC was ever made at the time. Tacitus wrote about it, but not until over 100 years after the event.
